Meh. You don’t need to know that much about me.
What do we even need the Strait of Hormuz for? Didn't we get a bunch of free oil from Venezuela? /s
There's tons of women-owned small businesses making bras with innovative design and materials. Bras for support, bras for reduction. Moisture wicking and anti-chafe. Special closures for disabled people. Sensory-friendly fabric and no tags. There are even bras for people with two different sized boobs. You just need to look beyond Walmart or Victoria Secret. Unfortunately, many are still very pricey.
People: "I thought the grifter who failed in every previous business enterprise would fix the complicated web that is the US economy. How could I have been so wrong?"
Some of us have known that he was a pervert and a rapist since his first term (maybe before?) and it's not much of leap to go from assaulting adult women to kids. I was against him then. It's not like I can be more against him now. My reaction is the same: he's a POS.
Some of you are way too cavalier about nuclear materials. We saw the results of animals exposed to radiation after Chernobyl in Pripyat. Minute changes can have a huge impact on sealife. I don't think stewing in radioactive material is gonna have a net negative impact. Yeah, climate change is priority number one but we need to seriously start considering the impact of what we dump into our oceans.
Sadly, there just aren't enough assless chaos to go around. In a real post-apoc scenario everyone will be wearing what they looted from Walmart's spring collection. It'll be Disney gear and Sofia Vergara jeans from here to the horizon.
It is not a man's unique job to "provide" for his family. That's putting a lot of unnecessary sexist pressure on men. And it shouldn't matter if you have a family or not, it's a job and it should pay a decent living wage. Period.
I'm curious as to why it's somehow always down to the US to stop Israel (despite us being in obvious cahoots with them) but never any other country's responsibility. It's been decades and no one has done a thing other than talk. What's YOUR country doing to stop Israel (and the US)?
Or we could do both. If you're poor and desperate but decide to do something awful that makes the world a worse place just for money then I think you shouldn't be let off the hook so easily.
One is a thing they do to others. The other is something that happens to them. Hope that helps.
I know guillotines are a funny meme but they'd cost a fortune to build and operate. Realistically, the good old fashioned firing squad would be much more cost effective. One thing we don't have a shortage of is guns/bullets.
So do people not kidnap kids in other countries? Most school security measures were put in place prior to school shootings to prevent kids from being taken. It was especially common for the non-custodial parent to take the kid from school during custody disputes after/during divorces. Is that just an America thing too?
I'm blown away that men don't understand that we can very easily imagine men killing us with the damn swords we bought for them. Like, yeah maybe Not All Men, but probably quite a few more if we just went around giving them all swords.
Most of those countries have an absolutely abysmal amount of misogyny. Adult women who are raped are blamed, shunned and sometimes killed in the name of 'honor'. I get the point that you were trying to make but maybe use examples of countries that don't see women as property. Also, I was including the US in the first sentence.
Yeah, imagine if we just lynched men for being perverts. *looks at the camera like I'm on The Office*
I got a new card with my Medicaid this year that gives me money each month to spend on 'healthy' groceries. I couldn't buy fresh mushrooms or spinach with it but I could buy a half gallon of ice cream with cookie chunks in it. WTF?
What they meant by "waste, fraud and abuse" was the money going to pay for things to help the country and taxpayers. That's a waste to them when they could be spending it instead. Luckily, they fixed it. Now it goes directly into slimy politicians' pockets.
It has to be. The majority of the ad is existing stock/news footage, a few drone shots and her on the damn horse. None of that would cost that amount of money to license, film or produce.
I've never understood that. If you think we're so close to the end times and you are sure you're one of the good christians getting into heaven then why does anything matter? Why not just sit back and wait for all us godless heathens to get what you think we deserve? Why keep meddling with things and making shit worse?
It seems like the downside of not using AI is that it actually makes it harder for you to detect AI images because you're unfamiliar with how they work. I never use AI and might be fooled by a couple of these whereas you can actually tell which specific AI probably made them. So familiarizing yourself with AI, even if you don't actually want to use it, might actually be a good idea. I'm somewhat of an anti so I never really thought about it like that.
Compost?! You have compost? I'm so jealous. My city has bins for garbage, cardboard and cans/bottles but it finally confessed to us last year that it doesn't matter what you put in them because they all just go in the landfill anyway.
…and we've found the guy we're feeding to the bear first.
Cultures, plural? Wait, do the moose have their own culture?
For most of us it is compulsory—it's called being poor. Who do you know that is working a retail job just as a fun hobby? It's so they don't starve or become homeless.
Exactly what incentive do they have to come forward? To be stalked and threatened and have a convenient suicide or overdose? Most women are reluctant to come forward about garden variety sexual assault, nevermind by such rich powerful perpetrators like these. We've proven we'll do nothing to protect them.
Spotify is actually worse than piracy. Most pirates never intended to buy that music so no revenue was lost. Spotify is actually stealing a portion of the money directly from artists when people pay to listen to their songs. That's way worse.
It's crazy how many "experts" were on ragging on Biden about the Afghanistan Withdrawal and us "abandoning our allies" but I haven't seen one thing about all the people who were stranded in Iran/Middle East following the US/Israel attack. Well, crazy unless you know how much media is owned by Trump symp billionaires.
This. Just threw out an old loft bed made like this. Half the welds had failed and it had multiple metal bars just waving in the wind. The kind of thing you really don't want a 9yro with ADHD jumping around on. Absolute death trap.
The New National Enquirer. Instead of making shit up about Aliens and Elvis they make shit up for Trump.
She doesn't want "I love you". She wants "Babe, let me do those dishes for you. You go sit down."
