I am beginning to believe that the same process that leads a trans person to understanding that they need to transition, is nearly identical for all human beings. It requires continual effort and introspection, understanding of oneself and acceptance of the inner child. It's therapy, acceptance and change. If this is true, then no wonder trans people are so threatening to the right.
