Why are all the titles missing?

Huh. Yeah, bring on the charges I guess:

...And that shows even less correlation!

If you see a correlation here, either you need glasses, or you're consumed by confirmation bias. Bonus: I'm fully vaccinated.

YOU consume fossil fuels. Not big oil or the corporations. YOU buy it. YOU use it. YOU create the demand. Good luck not using it.

You guys just can't let go of the narrative, can you. Florida, 27th in per capita death rate from COVID.

It's a failure on the part of the one person who theoretically doesn't take orders, ever. The commander in chief.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This isn't a failure from anyone with boots on the ground, or who takes orders.

This is mostly BS. The LTTE isn't christian, U.S. has never defined them as friends, never financed them, always on terrorist list.

Business up top, party down below.

Next step: The cancel brigade will be on fire because he said "ho" rather than "sex worker".

That I can agree with. We aren't going to solve the world's problems in comments on imgur...

so what? everybody here is condemning the US 'horrible' response. but zero condemnation for leaders of spain, france, italy.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

are way lower than any of them. https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/data/mortality The 'experts' here make it sound like we're worse than the rest.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Regardless, the US is, according to most 'experts' here on imgur, the armpit of the world in terms of health care. Yet our mortality rates/2

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not even slightly, actually.

4,000,000 NZ population over an area about the size of just California, compared to the US 330,000,000 encourages false equivalences.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

even rates - which i've been the prime arguer for here - can be misleading when population counts are grossly different.

Reliable sources generally consider France, Spain, and Italy as having the best univ. healthcare systems in the world.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If that's what was being done, I'd agree. The problem is, everyone's just spouting raw numbers, and ignoring the underlying rates.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In the US, generally speaking, they do. Left/Liberal/Democrat, and Right/Conservative/Republican. Definitions are wildly different elsewhere

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Trends are only meaningful when dealing with rates. So, there you have it.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You're mistaken, but whatever. 'extreme federalism' would be the opposite of what you propose. you're buying into propaganda.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Which is why praising Jacinda or blaming Trump is stupid.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hey, we agree. A pandemic is not something that plays by rules - wealth, population, government, health care system, the virus just laughs.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nonsense. So, apparently France, Spain, UK don't care about their citizens, since they have twice our rate - with world's best healthcare.
