I was a Marine and this speaks to me. Which is great because as a Marine I'm not so much with the reading.
They had jobs exactly as hard, you myopic crybaby. So did my generation (X). Every gen has some hard shitty jobs. Some of us still have em.

The point of it is that while it's true that sometimes first is best, it's also true that sometimes discretion is better part of valor.
