At this point I'm not trying to laugh. I just really want you to explain it so that we both understand what the joke is

By definition, airports are always liminal spaces, no matter we's hat time of day. Also I'm not sure you know what liminal means.
The funniest part is, you don't make much money from winning races. The real money comes from but from breeding winning horses.
It isn't bad exactly. Seems to me like a lot of people simply view it as boring.
A more social party game with lots of people, look no further than "Two Rooms and a Boom" Two teams, hidden identities, intrigue. 10/10
