I’m not saying all of TLJ was bad, but you can take recycled plots started in TFA and take them in cool new directions without killing them
I refuse to believe they couldn’t make a better movie than TLJ without copying empire
It definitely subverted my expectations of a good movie
The 7th wasn’t super original but it was pretty good but the 8th just severed all the plots the 7th started and feels very disconnected
