I have experienced the best way to have a proper conversation with people with dementia is to talk about something that is going to happen in the future. Then, they can give responses on the spot and the conversation usually flows much better. No need to remember anything at all.
I sometimes wonder if such posts are just trolls. Coming from a country where your personal beliefs are not discussed at all, it seems too weird to me to post a statement like that online. And the username" living for christ" I suppose, and her name too. Must be a troll imo
