Just going to clarify again that drugs aren't much of a problem, addiction is. The object of addiction can change.
But without good intentions, your good actions are kind of an accident.
Motivated? Yes it is. What motivates you to add 2+2? Why are you doing the sum in the first place?
NB: Laws are (essentially) an attempt to be moral via a logical system. But logic is -always- motivated by feelings, even if hidden.
A brief reminder that much of the rest of the '1st world' thinks you're batshit terrifying, USA, and not in a bad-ass way.

All of these things are more or less on a spectrum, ultimately diagnosed by how much they are screwing your life up by being too much.
I mean ok, I put the thought to consider. But, nazis are sort of counting on that predictable mindset, you realise? They are outnumbered.
You only need to show them that they're never welcome. Maybe getting punched keeping nazis out is something you'd not regret and can handle.
Some highly surgical biases towards cancelling may well just be a good reminder, if a little conservative in nature, and nazis are textbook
But that trivial fairness is no reason to tacitly enable direct nazism in cultural dialogue given our sad ability to take things for granted
I think it's less direct than that. "Keep off the grass" empowers peer pressure from folk who don't walk on it anyway.
