Being able to pay for a living space that’s over priced does not make you wealthy, it just makes you stupid.
Or two. The time spent with them was worth more than anything. And now I can wander around and just decide I enjoy a place and settle there with almost no effort. Yes renting is costly but the freedom is worth it. And fyi there are new buildings in Boise charging $1700 for a studio, tiny two bed houses going for seven figures in the right part of town. Ridiculous prices are just that, being broke or wealthy does not matter. Shit priced to high is stupid….
Nah son, I’m happy… I pay 1200 for a one bed in the middle of a fun little city, and while I wish I had a garden or bbq, if I owned a spot I wouldn’t be able to pick up and move somewhere else fun like I’m planning to do in a few months. Overpaying for a plot of land with a building to live in on it is all well and good till you realize it traps you there. I moved to Boise six years ago to be around my two grandmothers for there last while here. Granted it was only going to be for a year or 1/2

As bad as I want a dog i understand that it would not be fair to get one and leave it in my small one bedroom apartment while I work 10-12 hour shifts, even thinking it would never be in a crate. If you work long hours don’t get a dog unless it has access to a yard.
We put Japanese people in camps durning World War II, this is nothing new. We learned about camp topaz in Utah history in elementary school.

I agree to a point, but losing small farms will only hurt us. Unfortunately it will be another year or two before we see the effect, I hope the red necks that voted for him have to pay $50 for a steak to cook at home and it gets them sick from the lack of food regulation.
