Male, Canadian, late twenties. I enjoy gaming of the board, video and tabletop varieties. I have two dogs, one of whom is an awesome giant mutant pomeranian. Send me a message if anyone ever needs to talk. I like making people's days brighter and helping however I can.

This just made me realize how weird Ontario is for pronunciation. We apparently use a big mix of these.

Yeah, I call bullshit. You can't be friends with an ex you loved? A couple of my friends and I would disagree. People change, and so can 1/2

"Saying the sun is a star is like saying a tomato is a fruit." That would be a really apt comparison if he knew what he was talking about.

Yeah... I know dwelling doesn't help anyone, but even if I do better, I'll wonder if that guy ever got the meal he needed.

The short story Flowers for Algernon centered around that fear. Really, really heartbreaking.

Yeah... as a Canadian, there are a lot of really nice people, but we're far from devoid of shitty ones.

My local sandwich shop stopped selling fresh-baked oatmeal raisin cookies, because apparently I was the only one who bought them. :'(

And I'll leave a comment.

I don't know if I'll ever stop feeling guilty for not helping out someone who was truly in need, and maybe starving. I don't forgive myself.

me to get into the car and go. I remember the look on the guy's face, and how despairingly he threw his stuff on the ground as we left. 2/3

One time I was out with friends, a homeless guy was begging outside a pizza place, and asked if we could buy him food. My friends urged 1/2

I read one wherein I was shrunk. I was eaten by an amoeba and died. Second read, I shrunk so small I was lost in time and space. Kinda dark.

That must be a load off your chest. Or out of your abdomen, whatever.

This won't work if the two objects inserted can't move past each other, since the minute hand will regularly have to overtake the hour hand.

Readying / delaying actions (depends on the edition) is probably the biggest tactical element to play around with, especially for warriors.

If you could care less, then that means you care, at least a little bit. I, for one, couldn't care less how much you care.

Delay / Ready Actions, people! If you roll better than the support guy, say "I'll delay until after him."

During WW1, German and Allied soldiers came out into no-man's land and shook hands, wishing each other a merry Christmas. Really touching.
