I used FB to keep in touch with friends and family. That is literally the only people I have in my friend's list. No politics, no religion. I come here to be updated on what's going on in the world (because you can't get anything on TV), and funny stuff. Oh, and the dogs, of course.
Any country could be as "great" and "powerful" as the US. They just have to start hating their citizens and stop putting money into social safety nets, health care, etc. The US isn't powerful because they're extra special. It's because they blow all their money on their military.

Newfoundlander here. I want to give you all a quick explanation on why the town is called Dildo. While Dildo today is a sex toy, it once had a different meaning. Newfoundland's culture was centered around the fishery, and it used a lot of wooden schooners. Ever see old times movies with wooden sailing ships, with all the rigging? Some of those ropes would come down to large, cylindrical pins pushed into the rails of the ship. Those pins were called Dildos. Not named after the sex toy - the (1)
You should check out the videos where they show how magazines like Cosmo alter the model on the front cover to an appearance no human woman could attain. No wonder women hurt themselves trying to be perfect.

They're pissed off people are demanding proper pay for "dirty jobs" like flipping burgers and picking up garbage. It's costing them money to pay decent wages. So how do you fix that problem?
