That's what you do when you're about to go down for your crimes, I guess. Any legislators trying to grow a spine now inevitably get painted as "unpatriotic" and "not supporting the troops". And everybody stays way, way too busy to fight back.

It's the last 50 years writ large. Just keep destroying enough stuff that everyone's too busy surviving it and trying to rebuild it that you can just walk away with all the money...

Which senator?

15 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

We did not create the problem, Donald and and his sycophant dipshits did.

15 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I mean, a handful of ppl is making a shitton of money on this. I don't think it's any more complicated than that. Insanity for the entire globe besides mentioned asshats. This system is a complete failure

He does what he's best at: chaos.

They're taking the money and there's no repercussions.

Too many ppl forget that obama has a solid nuclear agreement with iran, and they were allowing inspectors in to keep it all clean and make sure they were only using nuclear development to power their nation. When trumped ripped that deal up (bc he loves making new deals) he did nothing to replace it. Israel became a bigger threat to their sovereignty, so they pushed limits bc they've planned getting attacked for over 20 years. Incompetence at every level

he's also creating business opportunities for others while defunding US, destroying reputation, undermining trust, cutting connections, and he still has 3 years to go, he is slowly dismantling united states of america and everyone is accepting it

It's a transfer of wealth. Tax payers pay $2B per day for a few folks to have moved money into oil and make a killing from it. Now they sell off as price of oil cools and leave the tax payers holding the bag. It's highway robbery of the tax payers.

What gets me is that we had unprecedented supervision over their nuclear program, from the time it's dug out of the ground, to its waste disposal after it was used, down to the specs of the nuts and bolts used in their centrifuges. Then Trump gets in office and pulls out of the agreement, and immediately starts drafting up plans to strike their nuclear infrastructure.

This was in 2018. This is what 8 years of planning looks like for them.

The entire SNAP program, which repubtards want to totally end, costs about $100B a year in entirety. We will spend that on this war in a couple months just for our military industrial complex. Well more than that factoring in price increases people are paying for everything.

Thank your local school committees for that. Keep a healthy part of the population as stupid as they can possibly be. Control

The US Treasury Dept has declared the US insolvent. $2T of debt added from 1 Oct 2024 to 30 Sept 2025. https://finance.yahoo.com/economy/policy/articles/treasury-just-declared-u-insolvent-151425143.html

I can't find any source from this except that article reposted. Usually reposted exactly word for word.

Importantly, I can't find the treasury announcement.

I don't think it's reall, or at the very least it is hyperbole, even if the article says otherwise.

Looks like it’s based on this opinion piece in Fortune https://fortune.com/2026/03/23/us-government-insolvent-fiscal-crisis-fix/ by Steve Hanke is a professor of applied economics at The Johns Hopkins University and a member of the Board of Directors at the Federal Fiscal Sustainability Foundation and David M. Walker is the former Comptroller General of the United States and the Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Federal Fiscal Sustainability Foundation.

So, it's not real

But Iran was thirty seven seconds away from having Nuclear Weapons!

16 hours ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

This war only justified their need for nuclear deterrent.

11 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bibi has been saying that since the 80s or longer

15 hours ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Despite illegally having nuclear weapons himself for almost that whole time.

14 hours ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

What about all the Iranian families burying THEIR loved ones?

14 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

So strange how nobody cared about Iran three months ago and it was not portrayed as a serious threat, but now the MAGA faithful have been convinced that Iran has been attacking US soil for months and we finally had enough and struck back.

15 hours ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

We have always been at war with Eastasia.

14 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

And South America, and Central America, and North America...

13 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Pretty sure they started it to manipulate the markets for their own personal wealth. Also, cuz Bibi knew he could get Trump to do whatever he wanted. The only issue is Donnie had no plans for after.

17 hours ago | Likes 435 Dislikes 3

Donnie doesn't have plans, he has false promises.

11 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, that was an ancillary benefit, he started it to divert from Epstein and that worked.

13 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Kinds sounds like Trump created a situation that gave him an excuse to lift the sanctions on Putins oil too.

13 hours ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Those plans only matter for us smallfolk. The Epsteins will get everything they want.

14 hours ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

They've been doing it since the tariff dance. Also, Lutnicks company makes a flat rate for like every stock transaction so the more trade chaos the better.

12 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Don't forget the Epstein files

15 hours ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 0

Stop the Epstein War! It'd be nice if we got the same as Iran got, a new leader.

14 hours ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That's not the only issue

10 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Read a post today that said we were basically locked in after we bombed them last year during Israel’s attacks. Because we went along then, when Israel planned to attack again this year, Iran would just assume we were involved.

The manipulating the markets thing may be a bonus. Hard to say: it’s not like the Trumpers are world-class military minds.

https://acoup.blog/2026/03/25/miscellanea-the-war-in-iran/

14 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

I think that is propaganda. We weren't locked into this by anything other than good old fashioned manipulating the orange man child in chief. To be clear the manipulation that mattered wasn't us coming them last year it was Lady G, and BiBi much more recently.

13 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The great deal maker fucked it up yet again. Didn’t think of other the possible outcomes because he is a toddler without the ability to perform critical thinking or any thinking for that matter.

10 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That and Malignant Narcissism. It’s very on point for one to want to blow up the world bc he’s on the way out and can’t have it anymore.

16 hours ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Trump thought it could be done in another midnight raid and be done. No plans for anything longer or idea that closing the strait could cripple the world wide oil market because Elon fired those people months back.

17 hours ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 0

This is called Indoor Cat Syndrome. It's when your only goal is Step One and you have zero plans after that. It's like how indoor cats have a single goal, to run out the door, then they freeze because they have not thought of what Step Two would be.

16 hours ago | Likes 61 Dislikes 0

You guys are literally watching the show he's putting on. In the background there are real smart people with the actual decision making doing big plays that you dont see on the news. These guys are literally hired to act and keep you distracted. Why do you think all their history is being on camera. Most importantly, these people aren't invested in all this bc they think they will lose.. idk what quantum computers are capable of but I wouldn't put it past them to abuse any power strat wise.

52 minutes ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He had a plan, straight to step 3: profit

11 hours ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Pretty sure they DID manipulate the markets, made millions off of it

15 hours ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

It wasn't just Rump and family. All their friends knew when to buy, and when to sell. That's 'our' money said the Everyman, who just lost Bigly.

14 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Of course they did. Anything to grift st any opportunity is built in.

14 hours ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Billions. Wouldnt be surprised if it was actual Trump or one of his children who did it at this point. Not like there has been any other punishment for his blatant corruption.

14 hours ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

It’s wild to me, that I have to claim $800 for selling an action figure on my taxes, but we do not know who these traders were.

13 hours ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The system was specifically designed to enslave us while enabling the owning class. What's wild is that we continue to respect this system as if it has any legitimacy.

12 hours ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Kushner most likely

14 hours ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

We can stop this war whenever we want, and it would be cheaper than free to do so.

The way out is just to admit fault. Admitting fault when you're wrong is something I would expect of the average toddler.

17 hours ago | Likes 173 Dislikes 2

So it's impossible,you say.

13 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, you really couldn't. When you put your dick in the hornet's nest, the hornets, not you decide when the fight is over.

14 hours ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Not really, no. USA can stop bombing anytime they want. But Israel will keep bombing, and Iran will (correctly) assume that since Israel gets all their bombs from USA, attacking USA allied gulf states is still the most efficient way to inflict pain and cost on USA. And Iran can keep the strait of hormuz closed, or selectively close it to american allies' oil tankers but allow chinese tankers or Russian tankers through. Israel and Iran can choose to continue the war, and likely will.

14 hours ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Politicians: bigger crybabies than toddlers tho. A corrupted politician admitting fault? Literally unheard of.

13 hours ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

"I take no responsibility for anything."

13 hours ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Thing is... we already killed their leader. They are pissed about that. That makes their position on peace a little more difficult than just leaving. On top of that Israel will do whatever the fuck it wants so the straight will stay closed either way. Pandora box has been opened you cant just close it

14 hours ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Not to mention Israel AND USA have both used peace talks as a cover for surprise bombing attacks. Israel literally bombed the peace talks in Qatar, trying to kill the negotiators. Doesn't really make future negotiations an appealing prospect, does it?

14 hours ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

The new leader is the son of the leader USA assassinated, DURING DIPLOMATIC NEGOTIATIONS. Who in their right mind would want to start up negotiations with USA again after that? That would be insane. The more you bomb and kill innocents, the more the survivors are radicalized and hardened against you. It's not complicated.

12 hours ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Not even that. Just, like, stop bombing

14 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm all for gift wrapping Donnie and Kegsbreath and just handing them over as reparations.

16 hours ago | Likes 68 Dislikes 0

throw in couchfucker too, but that's still not enough

14 hours ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Throw in Miller at least

12 hours ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I don't think anyone cares about Miller, especially not with his ballsier nazis gone.

11 hours ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We killed the top person of their personal brand religion, who also was the head of their state. I don't think Hallmark makes a card for that.

14 hours ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

The CIA does it often enough that they should, make it big enough to fit one of those oversized novelty cheques in.

14 hours ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If Hallmark DID make a card for that, it would be a musical card. What song would it play to represent America being sorry about something for once? Maybe Bruce Springsteen "Badlands," or Prince "Delirious."

13 hours ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I dunno, I think a mildly skilled musician could move the Star Spangled Banner a few chords down and make it a dirge.

13 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Us stopping doesn't necessarily mean that Iran stops shooting at neighboring counties, US bases in the region, oil tankers, etc. We're going to have to end up paying them off.

16 hours ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 1

That IS what stopping looks like. Going "Whoops we fucked up, here's money to replace that".

It's gonna be in the hands of a democrat to do, and the fascists are gonna go on the news and whine about it.

14 hours ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Maybe they could take Trump and his cabinet as payment. You know give them the people that caused the problem for them to do with as they please.

15 hours ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

And rightfully so. Yes the people of the states didnt want the war, but they will end up paying for it either way

15 hours ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

honestly, still shooting at Israel sounds like a good idea for them, Bibi is behind this, and it WILL happen again if they don't make a messy example of him.

14 hours ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Iran wants to inflict a large enough cost that USA and Israel won't just resume bombing in 6 months, like what happened before... and I don't really blame them, it makes sense.

14 hours ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

No doubt. The last deal we negotiated with them we withdrew from without cause then we sunk the unarmed ship they sent to the last round of negotiations. They have 0 reason to believe we'll honor any deal.

12 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

"upsi whopsi... sowwy for bombing your civililans" - thats not how it works...

15 hours ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 2

"Hey, new Ayatollah, Sorry for killing your father, who was also the head of your nation, and your religion. We good now, right? We promise we won't bomb you for at least another 4 months, but Israel definitely will, and we will keep supplying them with bombs, but, like, we all good now, right? The war is over now, right?"

12 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I mean yeah... That's how it works. Admit they're fools now or make an even bigger mess and look dumber down the road. This administration? The latter... obviously.

15 hours ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

What world do you live in where you kill hundreds of people and admit you were wrong and that's it? No, Iran could be offered those two hundred billion Kegsbreath was asking for, a full retreat, and they'd still want Agolf's little mushroom on a platter.

14 hours ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

so all the USA needed after 9/11 was a "sorry"? damn... all this rage, bloodlust and thirst for revenge... vanished like magic because of a videotape from bin laden saying how sorry he was

13 hours ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well, not quite how it works, because Iran needs to be ensured that the US isn't just using it as a pretence to cause a temporary ceasefire while they prepare another attack, which is a strategy they've used before. And since the Trump administration has spent their entire run making it abundantly clear to the whole world that you can't trust a promise from the US, that vastly complicates the diplomatic situation. Just admitting the mistake and backing off probably won't be enough to fix this.

14 hours ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Is Israel gonna stop bombing them with USA made bombs that clearly say "made in USA" on them? I doubt it, so why would they stop their counter-attacks? Iran doesn't really make much of a distinction between IDF and USA military and with everything that's happened, after all the bombing of civilians with precision weapons that can accurately hit whatever target they want to hit... I can't really see much of a difference either.
