Yeah I'm gonna guess some conservative legislators probably attended church on sunday, and voted on a law criminalizing feeding the poor on Monday.

Yeah, I remember seeing a video of an old fellow saying his son died of Covid, and in the same sentence he was spewing bullshit about masks, vaccines, and how he now supported Trump more than ever. For lots of them there's no turning back.

Same here. Most of this is wholesome as fu£k, until it isn't.
My 2018 full sized SUV gets about 50 mpg on average (keep in mind gas is about 10$/Gallon), and it was like 22k€ new. If American carmakers want to make EU sales they better start making cars that can match or exceed that, because no amount of bullying is going to make us buy any of the overpriced & oversized gas drains they keep pushing for the US market.

Shit days like to pile on sometimes, the battery could have died, fuse blown, no spark, etc. there's a thousand annoying electrical gremlins that could have stopped it from cranking, or he could have just started disassembly before they got to him, and I doubt they'd have given him the time to troubleshoot it.
Thougth so too when we went to Finland a couple weeks ago, I was kind of disappointed until we had ONE which was way brighter and greener than all the previous ones we'd seen. Looked pretty close to this video to the naked eye.
There's probably not many instances where oppression surrendered spontaneously and peacefully...
I wouldn't quite say everywhere, I can't remember a single "attack" in a school in France since I've been alive, and like one guy with a flintlock pistol and a crossbow in Germany (over the last 30-ish years).

If I remember correctly the rate for wrongly convicted inmates on death row in the US seats somewhere close to 8 % historically.
