Like you can’t just change clothes in the house wherever Bc there are always ppl on the streets and they can see in.

I kind of miss it. Not ready to go back yet Bc it was hard to find a job in my field there. It is weird to always have to be aware of ppl.

I just left northeast LA for the city of Nola. It takes 30 min to get anywhere. Also true there but it’s bc it’s 20-30 miles from anything.

Is that considered to be a lot of snow for where you live? (We don’t have snow where I’m from, so if we have 1-2” everything closes down.)

Is that a filter? You kids use filters now?

dipping it back in the milk bath and pounding in flour again before frying in peanut oil. Hopefully that helps. It’s been 15 years. 2/2

Maybe try peanut oil. They let their ckn sit in the milk bath for a long time before putting it in flour, pounding flour into it, and 1/2

Did you cry in peanut oil? They do, and I swear it makes a difference in taste. I worked there in high school.

Super cohesive. Thank you. I’m cooking while drinking kind of heavily and fighting the depression and anxiety that comes with family time.

I’d forgotten about that! I “liked” it Bc I thought it was cool even if it didn’t come out as you’d planned. I didn’t remember the op name.

My parish is double the national average. Lack of good jobs and education is a huge problem in the south.

The displaced aggression amongst everyone not living in a Richie Rich mansion doesn’t help either.

Haha I know. In Louisiana, we’re almost always in the upper 90 humidity. I was in VA one summer; they called a heat advisory for 70 & 80%.

I didn’t actually think of the compilation of things in the asphalt being different up there. Interesting.

Louisianian. 44 (at midnight). I can’t even imagine it being that cold. Kudos. Stay safe.
