We decided to do something a little different than the other rooms and do a faux brick wall.
This was our son's old room and now the walk thru for the new addition.
Taped off with painter's tape..
Applied dry wall mud...
Let it all dry and pulled the tape.
This part took the longest. My wife really took the time to paint every "brick" individually. Turned out nice.
...and voila!

Did the drywall mud add much texture? How thick did you apply it? That’s a really fun, though time-consuming, concept. Looks great.

Can't be to thick or it will crack. Look at my Han Solo in Carbonite post for proof.

The dry wall mud took on the same consistency as real brick. It was applied just enough to cover the wall and without trying to smooth it.
