Orange County and California, in general, are really good about this kinda stuff. From the measures/props to the candidates and ballots to vote counting, the process is well done. We may be a "blue state," but we give proper acknowledgment to "both sides," so to speak.
Yes. HB Cty Council member Chad Williams (hardcore MAGA and a supposed Christian) is the person mostly responsible for these signs getting put up everywhere. He and the other Republicans on the CC are trying to ban books on puberty and sell the library to a private company. Voting yes on A and B would keep the public library independent and public.
Imagine a public library, but it's being run for profit by a private company while receiving a bunch of tax money. All the library staff would have their wages cut, people would have to pay money to rent books on top of the taxes they already pay, and any non-profitable services a library offers (free internet access, community events, seed banks, etc) would be removed or altered to produce a profit for the private company at the expensive of the public.

For those wondering, each circle represents a county, and the size of the circle represents the population. The vast, VAST majority of "red counties" are so sparsely populated that the relatively few "blue counties" represent far more people, and thus more votes.
Remember y'all, sexual attraction, romantic attraction, and aesthetic attraction are three totally separate things. Many people (possibly most people) experience all three in such a way that they could be considered interchangeable. However, many/most is not all. Some people can look at others and think "that person is hot" without feeling any sexual or romantic attraction towards them.

It's amazing but you may want to pick up some gold and silver spray to recolor the "gold" and silver plastic the Hi-Nu comes with. The gold plastic just doesnt look very good from my perspective.
I'm putting together the RG Nu right now and I love these new RGs. 12/10 would recommend!

I mean, stuff like building codes are meant to keep people safe and reduce the possibility of structural issues. If your house gets knocked over by a strong gust, burns down from shitty electrical, or whatever else happens, don't expect insurance companies or the government to come help. And if someone gets hurt on your property cuz you done fucked around and built some shitty structure, that lawsuit coming out of your personal pocket.
Fun fact, when I was 17, I tried to join the Marine Corps. When I took the ASVAB at MEPS to join the delayed entry program, I got a minimum of 90th percentile in every single category and a 97 overall. My recruiter thought I cheated cuz he had never met anyone who scored that high. The next day, the Air Force recruiter started HOUNDING me non-stop. Didn't end up joining, but that was certainly an experience.

Nope! She wasn't on the primary ballot and she essentially gave up the seat when she decided to run for Senate instead. It genuinely bums me out. I dont want to make any assumptions about why she chose to do this, but it is my opinion that it was the worst possible political move she could have made in this situation.
As much as I loved having her as my local congress person, I think she seriously fucked up by running for Senate. Like, if you look at our local district's primary results, there's a really strong chance that she's going to be replaced by a far-right fascist. She really should have just stuck with her congressional seat where she mostly likely would have won. People in our district weren't voting for a Democrat when they elected her, they were voting for HER because she's just that awesome.
At this point, Colorado and every other state should just pull the classic "they've made their decision, now let's see them enforce it" move and just refuse to put trump on the ballot or count any write in vote for him. The Supreme Court has, quite obviously, lost all legitimacy as an institution and their current decisions should be completely disregarded.
