Ok, so within the context/format of the shortened Youtube link they show, it's accurate. HOWEVER..... yeah the more common one, good point. And, full disclosure: I apparently mentally filter out that first "watch?v=" question mark automatically these days and kind of sort of forgot that it was even in there at all. Oops.

Just saw a thread on Reddit, plenty of comments along the lines of, "ICE is only a problem if you're a criminal." Some people like that are just not worth it, just downvote and move on. They can't see anything beyond the next five minutes, nor anyone beyond themselves.

Which part(s) was allegedly inaccurate? Unique IDs like this are used by a lot of big tech companies. Amazon, Google, Facebook, Youtube... yeah they use tracker tags in URLs. Which device or user account clicked Share, where it was posted, which devices or user accounts clicked on it... lots of stuff. And then they can sell that data to other companies.

I guess, like some others noted, one less-than-accurate part is the part about always being able to remove anything after the question-mark.

👍And what are the landlords required to have available in their houses in terms of food or backup power for times when there's a snow emergency or prolonged power outage? ...Nothing!! Just rely on people living nearby to help for free! 😑 (why yes there IS an AirBnB house right next to me, how did you guess?)

"I just noticed your necklace, is that a symbol or a letter, or what is it?"
"It's just a small version of a basic wooden implement that was used to torture people to death."
"......oh hey I see that it's GTFO time for me right now!"

The things you just give to students to say, ‘Let's put a thought experiment to something extreme and see how would the system react’? I never thought we would actually see this.”"

That's assuming anyone actually enforces HIPAA against this. And even then... "oopsies, the list got released to the Internet already! How did THAT happen?? I guess we are just slow in checking our emails sometimes, maybe we didn't see the restraining order in time. " A court order won't remove it from the Internet then.

Things that will get Republicans to turn on Trump: If he starts saying things like: Public housing for all who need it. Billionaires need to be taxed out of existence. Abolish ICE. Transgender people need equal rights. Free school breakfast and lunches for anyone who wants them. Pedophiles are bad.

If he starts talking like that, THEN they will impeach him and/or 25th-Amendment him. I think that's the only kind of red line they have.
They love him for his cruelty and chaos.

And I wonder how long we'll have until there's trillion-dollar federal bailouts of the tech companies that are all-in on AI, and making immense circular "commitments" to hundreds of billions of dollars of datacenters.

And it happened twice. He was in office once, and *that* was "temporary," or "an anomaly." Nope. Here we area again, and it's just so much worse, and constantly accelerating downward. Not only is the system of "checks&balances" proving to be largely ineffective, the system's been captured by the ones who seek to destroy it, and they only run into small pockets of resistance, with the occasional judge temporarily telling them No, or a small number of votes failing to pass.

They'll just start stopping anyone who "looks transgender," and will face no repercussions when they invariably go after someone who's cis. It's another excuse for cops to get away with harassing and abusing people, while also being bigots.

Not anymore. You can if you want to, but nuking legislation in the Senate these days can be done just by saying "I object," and then fail to get 60 votes to bring it out of "filibuster limbo."
