Because of my job, I get to meet a lot of business owners. Every single one of them either had someone to take care of the home and bills and family while they worked ridiculous hours, or they inherited/daddy bought the business they now own.
I am worried about inheriting money soon as i did work hard for what i have now, but not what I may inherit later. Is there something I should do so that I do not have to worry about being chaired?
I have a few friends that inherited money and property, lived with their parents their whole lifes have no degrees, haven't worked and now are living off the income of thr properties they've rented out and they constantly tell people they worked hard for it... with boomers aging out, this will only increase and the divide in wealth will become greater and for many, studying, working hard and saving will never get you a head let alone a roof over your head.
I get the urge to hide inherited wealth. If I won the lottery I wouldn't advertise that fact. But I don't get the urge to pretend you worked hard for it. I worked for a company and the owner told this story about being a laborer and building a company and inventing a product and inventing a product in another industry. According to him when he was drunk, his son, and company records Dad's money started the company, the "product" was a knockoff of something the patent ran out on and the "new" 1/2
I took a loan for $100 from my parents to help me get ready for my first job and paid it back with my first paycheck. Everything after that College, Rent, car, eventually half a house. All came from my own money... I'm still only two steps from the streets but what I have I know I've earned.
It’s easy to sit there and say you’d like to have more money. And I guess that’s what I like about it. It’s easy. Just sitting there, rocking back and forth, wanting that money. -Jack Handey
Also, could you entertain the thought, for just a second, that there is a world OUTSIDE the two-party system, that DOESN'T necessitate that someone disagreeing with you is NECESSARILY for your opposition, and simply because one side is definitely worse, it doesn't make the other side good? It amazes me how reverently people defend the two-party system when IT GAVE US TRUMP!!!!!
"Do you think women are people, not possessions? Do you think people from other countries are people, not threats? Do you think gay people are still people once they admit they're gay? Do you look at a trans person and think, that's still a human being? If so, you're not a centrist/moderate. You're on the left, not because your views have changed over time, but because the right has run so far to the right, anyone who thinks differently from them is no longer human and deserves death."
"If the other option isn't perfect, I'd rather make things worse for everyone to make them more desperate and compromise by giving me exactly what I want."
Perfect? Who EVER asked for perfect? How about a candidate you'd just ACTUALLY be willing to support, instead of being just, "less shitty"? But of course, it's THEIR fault. Not the ones supporting the two-party system that pumps out shitty candidates.
Plenty, I even know a few who flat out didn't vote because "my vote doesn't matter and she's almost as bad as he is." The problem with political activism is you can't just divorce yourself from the system you disagree with. It's a Two-Party system. It sucks, I hate pretty much every decision made by "we'll sell you and your family out for a nickel, but we didn't campaign openly on racism", but every non-vote and protest vote actively contributed to ICE marching into people's homes, not change.
Again, has nothing to do with anything. To your point, I oppose the Republican party, but I ALSO oppose the Democratic party. I understand in your model, the two-party system, simply because I disagree with you I MUST be supporting the opposition. That is a false dichotomy. Simply because Dems are not NEARLY as bad as Republicans doesn't mean they aren't also self-serving shit bags as well. OP even mentions both in his title when denouncing them.
My in-laws think they are moderates because they like the word "moderate." They don't seem to realize that what a moderate is has changed over the years since the right keeps going further and further right into fascism. We have to keep telling them, you're not moderates, you're left, you just don't want to admit it because you want to act like you're level headed, middle ground people. Turns out, that's left now!
That has nothing to do with what I said. Both sides, are awful. It is your capitulation, actually, to the "less shitty" side, that is cooperating in a system that allowed Trump and his ilk to exist.

Rage does nothing. Only vote candidates who make clear, simple, meaningful changes to the system.

... product was not something he invented, it was a company he bought and liquidated that already owned the patent.

You could go for niche or kink categories. Like object/massive insertion, orgasm denial, pump stuff, etc.

He's also a racist dipshit who uses his show to platform fascists and who never made it a secret that Anne Coulter is his good buddy.
