As a former resident of the county they used to let us get in and park for free (playground was awesome) because we paid for it with our damn TAX dollars. They used COVID as a reason to stop that practice, make more money and build their own hotel. It is definitely still standing.

Don't feel guilty. I imagine quality has something to do with it, but yeah if you see a better opportunity with a more stable place, consider it.
Studies support naming the feeling allows for a higher level of control of it. So, say you're nervous, and use exposure techniques with a trusted ally to help reduce your fear over time.

Sometimes extreme grief can be categorized under adjustment disorders or depression, etc. Maybe go find a therapist just in case.
