Yeah, mechanical keyboards is a niche to begin with, but even most of those guys think us artisan collectors are nuts :P
It's just decorative. People usually put artisan keycaps on the escape key or if they have a lot, across the F row, but it's not for typing.

I love artisans. It's a great way to collect really cool sculpted art without taking up tons of space.

I wanted to make sure and get good hardware from the start, in the past I've been turned off of hobbies because of bad tools. Got a Hakko
