Exactly. My parents born in 1925 UK were a safe space in 1950s Brisbane for their gay friends and Aboriginal people when they had widespread and overt discrimination. My brother b. 1952 and wife are way more conservative. There do however seem a disproportionate number who can't empathise & believe they had it just as tough when everything was in their favour.
It's a crime against humanity.

Yep, me too. It is small enough to fit in a shallow 'girl' pocket and big enough to accommodate my terrible eyesight. Dropped it too many times but not a scratch.
Fellow Aussie, my company allows you to swap out some holidays (Easter days) for your own more relevant date (Eid, Diwali, Yom Kippur etc) . You can pick whatever date you want that's meaningful for you. Handy.

My mum couldn't breast feed us and its irrelevant to us. Million things we value about her, how she fed us as blobs not on the list.

If you're strongly against having kids, for whatever reason, & actively taking steps to avoid it then yes, falling pregnant may be awful.
The contraceptive pill has a way higher incidence of blood clots as a side effect & taken much longer. Guessing you're probably OK with that
Don't overfeed and regular water changes.
