Well there are many different types of ethics designed by people way smarter than me, but yeah most of them are more of a common agreement.
Moral arguments never have a 'right' answer I just wanted to address the point from my perspective.
My point for this argument was just to get you to think about the hypocrisy in what the first guy said. That's what I wanted to see.
Eating for survival and eating because it tastes better are entirely different ballparks.
idk I see a lot of people getting mad at China for eating dogs and cats when it's perfectly reasonable to eat cows. Nothing is sensical.
There are a lot of arguments I would accept, but "humans are better, therefore they deserve to die for us" is just ridiculous.
So if another species more advanced than us lived on Earth you'd be fine being their food because they were "better" than you in their eyes?
I'm not trying to get caught up in any argument, but this is the exact reasoning slave owners used to justify having slaves.
My biggest question is why is there such a huge debate over letting people sniff burning plants.
To be fair, what else would you use a gun for other than shooting? I don't think they make very good endtables.
