If the AI bubble bursts and sends US economy into crisis, they will turn, not all, but enough. Economy is king and Trump largely ran on being the candidate that was viewed as better for the economy. He isn't bleeding support because of immigration and DEI stances, those are still his strongest areas, but because he is fucking up the economy.

It's unfortunate that analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of previous titles to make a better game, is not something Bethesda was able to do for Fallout 4

Rockstar traded imaginary stock money, for real profit money, by delaying a game for more polish time.

If the only thing you want from Bethesda RPG is for it to be Bethesda RPG, then I agree they will satisfy you more often than not. Also, very few other companies can deliver Bethesda RPG's consistently. I mean, there was that one time, when Obsidian made a better Fallout game with 18 months of dev time on a lunch money budget.

This, I honestly think that Tron has pretty much zero appeal to a mass audience. Everyone is like "Do you remember the bike from Tron? Pretty fucking cool, right?" And that is the extent of it's cultural relevancy.

If you use half-truths and twist logic to attack billionaires, then defending billionaires becomes a reasonable thing to do, because you are not defending billionaires, you are defending the truth. The moment your side of the aisle starts feeling like the truth is optional, to justify your position, you become the bad guys.

You mean Misa?

She is not fully autonomous, she likely needs prompting from Vedal during streams, but yeah, AI.

I'm pretty sure, I saw the same accusations in Czech newspapers during the USSR era. Stalin really was just Hitler with a thicker mustache.

They don't have free jurisdiction to execute, they are not 007, if a cops discharges his weapon, there is a whole lot of scrutiny to determine whether it was justified. At least in Europe.

As a Czech, what you call a drinking contest, we call Tuesday. At least as far as beer is concerned.

I have failed to verify in any way that this man said this, outside of unsourced quote on Goodreads.

After the first stab deflects off the plate, you will be momentarily stun locked, because in a high adrenaline situation something very unexpected happened. If you even notice the first stab deflecting. Enough time for the victim to be to react.

Comment section for the game being flooded by recent comments, about people buying it because it got banned on steam is a solid indication

And now it got a shit ton of free advertising and is blowing up on sites where it's still available. Some real 'We did Patrick, we saved the city' moment here.

I think there is a disconnect between what AI can do and what tech bros present it as to shareholders who know fuck all about AI. It's both amazing it what it can accomplish and nowhere near capable of what it's being presented as in some cases. For example it's lack of contextual awareness and memory token limitations make it next to useless for any long form interactive story telling. It's a tool that will make work more efficient, but I don't trust it to replace people. It needs oversight.

Yep, pretty insane, you would constantly have people voting about shit they know nothing about, not to mention how the logistics of it are impossible.

Best case scenario, AfD will never get power, but they will be significant enough threat to keep the government in check. From their unmitigated migration policy, to mothballing nuclear power plants. They have their share of fuck ups and people growing tired.

Directive on the status of non-EU nationals who are long-term residents establishes that a person who has lived legally in an EU country for an uninterrupted period of five years, can obtain the status of long-term resident

The issue is, you can move to a country to live and work there, but it takes years to gain residency. This should be targeted specifically on people buying up property as an investment, not immigrants.

Props up to the szechuan sauce guy, I'm thoroughly disappointed I had to scroll all the way down here to find someone who challenged that claim.

We are not talking about being fit or wearing make up here, the shit they have done was done to chase clout. At a certain point, caving in to societal pressure is on you, especially when the motivation is to stand out.
