Trade school may be a better fit. Especially if you want to work at the salon. It is very different from high school & you may enjoy it.
College isn't a good fit for everyone and many that go end up with crippling debt and little in the way of marketable skills.
That could have gotten real 'impaley' real quick.
Don't assume the stranger's story is accurate. That is one side. Talk to your parents about it. Hear their side too.
With a car, the insurance will total it out but you can reduce your payout by the salvage value and keep it.

Some states are "no fault" states where law is you split marital property 50/50 regardless of cheating, abuse, etc.
The Soldiers and Sailors Relief Act may prohibit and legal action against them if they are deployed before the court date.
