I don't know why guitars do this. Changing the angle of attack on the neck mid neck. The best guitar I had was a les paul look alike from Gretsch. The neck wasn't on a curve like most guitars, it was actually FLAT. No curve at all. I ended up loving it the best, taking out the curve of the neck made you a better player. It was rough to get used to at first, but soon I loved it more than any guitar ever.
