The only thing you really have to watch out for down the line is sun exposure. Tattoos are easy to handle after healing.
Tattoos don't need 'maintenance' if they're done right (which this seems to be), you just have to care for it well the first weeks.
Actually, the soft shading might have to be redone some years from now, but as most of it is solid black it shouldn't fade much if at all.
