Here’s the thing, you don’t like every person in the world and every person in the world isn’t going to like you. We all have to wade through the bullshit to find the flower. Unfortunately, it can take a lot longer for some. Connecting with people isn’t easy and it takes time. So many people think it’s easy and just around the corner, it takes work. Work on yourself and work at connecting.

My dad was working in a tattoo shop during a tornado which almost leveled the whole town except his house, shop, and a few other buildings. Someone called him a “Lucky Devil” and that became the name of his new shop when he moved.

My dad owned a tattoo shop for 30 years and on every Friday the 13th I had to pick a number out of a bowl and whatever you picked you had to get the corresponding image tattooed, people loved it!
I rarely played with fire but the very few times I did, I felt like I should’ve bought stock in the company that makes my birth control! 😂 Dodged one hell of a bullet!

The fact that a bottle of wine costs more than someone’s salary for a year is dumb and disgusting. It’s just fermented grapes for fucks sake

Fair and sorry, not a hit at you directly, that was more of just a general thought/feeling.
As an English speaker living in another country who is trying to learn the language, I really wish people would understand that learning a language is really, really hard and slow going for some of us. I also didn’t know I was moving here or would’ve started learning a lot earlier. I understand your/their frustration but we’re also frustrated that we can’t speak the language either and we’re trying.
