When glued properly along the long grain the joints can be stronger than the wood
Would be cool to get a silvering kit and turn it into a mirror.
I think when the pic scaled down the lighting and contrast make it look like AI, but if you zoom in and get more detail you can tell it's a real pic.
You can also see the light the whole time. The vehicle with the dashcam had plenty of time to make it through the intersection on that yellow.
It's also not a bad idea to look into replacing any seals so that you don't end up with light leaks.

The laminate glass used for vehicles is just two pieces of regular annealed glass that has laminate sandwiched between them.

Their technique is pretty aggressive. The more aggressive the more you risk taking away details of the original painting.
