I would have at least gone in and pulled the one off his tail. You're just asking for a spinal injury by letting that pup yank like that.

I worked with an Iranian guy at a Domino's once. He'd worked as a translator overseas so he and his immediate family were brought here once they were done serving. He was such a chill dude who loved to talk about his racing pigeons. He LOVED birds and came in once all excited showing everyone a video he's gotten of a nest of baby robins in the bushes outside his house. His family arranged a marriage for him but gave him the ultimatum of "a beautiful wife or your pigeons". Dude chose his pigeons

Every time I see those all I can think is how slimy they must be because I do not like undercooked eggs

I crocheted a blanket that I use almost every day now (because I am cold and it is warm). It has quite a few mistakes in it, being my first blanket (and also round because apparently I hate myself lol). I use it to encourage my son. "Yes, it has mistakes. It isn't perfect. But it's still a good blanket. It's still pretty and warm. Its okay to make mistakes c:"

They lay back down. I follow a few wildlife rehabbers and also have had to move fawns while farming. As long as you don't move them too far mom can find them just fine

I follow a few wildlife rehabbers. One specializes in rehabbing deer. Unless sick they're sick or starving, fawns will not move until mom comes back. Moving them a short distance away from where they've laid down in a dangerous spot (like the ROAD) will NOT harm them and mom will NOT reject them (that is a myth).

We move fawns sometimes when they're in the path of tractor during hay season. Mom always comes back for baby and they go off together just fine.

The last time I worked retail there were SO MANY old people coming in asking about scam ads they'd seen and I would have to explain that no, that is a scam. Sometimes it was for our competitor's own brand so not even something we had EVER carried.

Upvote purely for the name xD We fostered a little black kitten I refused to name because I had no intention of keeping him so didn't want to get attached. I dubbed him "noise maker" because he was LOUD. Spouse called him "little void".

His name is now Augustus von Void the 1st the 3rd (aka "Gus") and is my SIL's little gremlin

Elon is the poster child for "money doesn't buy happiness". All the money in the world and he has to make his misery everyone else's problem. The latest reason being that apparently the only time he ever heard the word "no" and he couldn't force his way around it was when he couldn't join the other rich assholes when they went off to rape kids.

all the time? They maybe loud when they're excited and might be easier to excite than other breeds, but they're actually usually pretty chill

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

honestly, they're not as loud as the internet makes them out to be

I'm 100% expecting my home to be multi-generational and for my son to not strike out on his own until "late" if at all.

There's a difference between ambient particulate and getting actual fur and hair in your food

As someone with cats and fluffy dogs: that's disgusting and indicates she doesn't care about proper food handling practices or kitchen hygiene. It also suggests she lets her cats roam her counters which is fucking DISGUSTING, especially since it isn't hard to teach them to stay off the counters.

1000 pounds is definitely large enough for a 200 pound rider. The weight of the horse is actually a small part of determining what a horse can carry. Primarily what to look at is conformation and fitness.

For example a long-backed horse may struggle with the same rider that a short-backed horse carries just fine. A pasture puff won't be able to carry a rider nearly as well as a well conditioned, fit horse.

Except destriers weren't large and draft breeds aren't bred for carrying loads but pulling them. Larger horses require more food and thus were not economical. Horses didn't start getting big until well after the days of knights. Even so, lighter breeds such as thorougbreds were preferred as late as WWI due to their versatility and speed.

There's quite a bit that goes into determining what a horse can carry, and the main concerns are actually conformation and fitness of the horse.

I'm not talking about cosmetic surgery, I'm talking about caking on makeup like frosting

Naturally the fakest people alive will never understand that the best way to look good with makeup is a solid foundation of just properly taking care of your skin and accepting that everyone ages.

I thought the same thing about torties, but apparently torties aren't commonly adopted either.

"art" style and lack of a signature or watermark

ai has a distinct "style" that's easy to spot that no genuine artist would replicate, and the lack of any form of signature or watermark means the comic is either ai or blatantly stolen

My "son's" dog was supposed to be my dog. I picked him out, I brought him home, he decided my son was his person. We've had him for over 4 years now and my son can do whatever the hell he wants to this dog and Captain will let him lol

As a person well endowed in that area: no, no you do not. Having your back and shoulders fucked up constantly is not worth it. Never able to find a good bra isn't worth it. Please believe me when I say this: nothing bigger than a C or a D is worth it
