Perfect response.
I'm maintenance at my site, so I'm occasionally called for technical expertise. Union negotiated that a phone call means I get 1 hour of overtime guaranteed, even if thr call only lasts a minute. They are able to call my back throughout that hour, but if it goes over 61 minutes I get two hours etc. Overtime is double my rate. It's happened maybe 5 times in 10 years. Worth it imo.
If i ever win the lottery I'm going to open an ice cream store called, "half off for pretty people." Then charge everyone full price.
If you want me to spend more. Either pay me more, or make things cheaper. Just raising prices while cutting wages, then complaining about it isn't the fix.
In fairness, if I miss a shift at work due to sickness. I lost a days pay. Im okay with the farms not working good due to thermal throttling, but it's probably a measurable decrease in their output. Just like me missing a shift.
Fwiw, we make a point of giving my brother in law a "You're the birthday girl" card every year. Usually says he's two. It's fun to joke around like that.
And to be clear. It is not due to their appearance. Whatever it may be. It is the hateful, spiteful, disgusting behavior that lessens everyone that witnesses it that makes this person so disgusting to look at.
One of the guys I work with got in on it really early. Sold a bit of crypto to buy them. Spawned some tokens or something, sold those. Made back his money from the nft purchase. Sold the nfts, bought more crypto... and is currently sitting on 10 bitcoins. All the other guys who saw what he was doing and tried to bandwagon on lost a lot of money overall. I've put about $100 into crypto and it's worth about $70 now. I feel dumb about those $30.
They're currently $90 Cad on Amazon, and in stock.

The wife and I divide tasks up into pink and blue. Washing the sheets, blue task. Mowing the lawn, pink task (I usually do it anyways). Washing the towels, pink task. Cooking, dishes, vacuum etc, purple task.
Can uh... can I get electroshock? I'd like a quiet brain.

I suspect that it's am average. If you have enough money in America you're close to functionally immortal.
Terrifying things happen when the little explosion (from the oxy/gas mixture) tries to force the moving parts through - what is by definition - an immovable object. Clearances wrong, missing part, extra part, wrong sized part etc.

I've cut ¼" bolts with side cutters before. You can get high leverage sets as well. Just saying.

Canadian as well. My union bargained benefits covers everything but a 50cent dispensing fee. Only rule is that I cannot refilla new prescription until the previous one is ⅔ gone.
Crypto makes up about 0.0003% of my portfolio. I threw a tiny bit into it a while ago to see if anything happens. All that has happens is the value has gone done. I'll keep going with regular investments lol.

In our city houses are selling for above asking, same day, no conditions... compared to the national average, houses are on the low side for a big city. So people will sell their million dollar shack in BC and buy a two story here with enough left over to reno and furnish it.

You could argue the same thing about power lines lol. An arc fault at 35KV or higher is terrifying.

I'd be out so fast. My wife got me to make a good reads account, and when I tried to "upload" all the Kindle books I'd read, it actually broke about half way through. I'm still not able to get them all in. And the ones that I have, I can only leave reviews for about half.
