Children do yearn for the mines.
Now they're going to bed.
what's this from?
Out of interest, how does something like a twin-circuit turbojet (which afaik doesn't inject fuel, just a secondary airflow around the engine) work? Does it just ensure any unspent fuel is ignited or what?
???? What kind of absurd take is this? Just off the top of my head, Chandrasekhar is another Indian physicist that contributed to black hole science and both of my supervisors were women.
Look at the broadsword!
The original post is from a greentext, as hilarious as it is to imagine a 4chan anon repping twix, I think it's unlikely
Almost ended up working in Slough... Dodged a bullet there.
Depends on the fuzing but it would probably just keep going. An anti tank shell with a shaped charge might have an IR sensor for the precursor charge. So unless you're transparent, you get to be counted as enemy armor for a couple of miliseconds.
Sublime edit
Think it might be FF14
Are you serious? You wake up every morning in so much fear of nuclear apocalypse that you think actual nuclear annihilation is preferrable?
The trick is to have goldfish memory. I can't remember what my alarm sounds like at all until it wakes me up.
Can someone explain this to my friend?
Base 10 is fundamentally simple exactly because we have ten fingers. Everyone understands base ten, it is simple for everybody.
Pretty sure the studio got bought out / went under and a lot of the devs moved to the new one.
A body shot. Basically a waste of ammo ;-;.
the milky way. Parallax observation is useful for stars within the milky way, it is practically nonexistant for istant galaxies.
The Earth-Sun distance is 0.000000008% of the total distance on display here. It does not influence observation of anything further than 1/2
I have no idea what ICM stands for and at this point I'm too afraid to ask.
Can I use it for seasoning?
Called zygote if you want the episode.
micrometer band which is where most of the cool infrared stuff goes on anyways. JWST is going to be a massive improvement though, no doubt.
I mean they both have multiple instruments. Hubble had the Wide Field Camera 3 which dipped into infrared. It covers the 1-11 1/2
You want NASA to stretch their budget from science missions to also designing and manufacturing the launch vehicle? SLS would like a word.
https://earthsky.org/space/asteroid-psyche-metal-or-rubble-pile/ For estimates on its wealth and some interesting talk on gold losing value.
