Sensationalist headline without any bearing on reality. They should get rid of the science part...

Threatening? Doesn't that need a ... threat?

Yes, the people are wrong. We should vote them out.

Again and again under the guise of saving the children political parties and regimes try to control the media and in the last years especially social media. While simultaneously condemning China and their control schemes (which are shit, but why you try to bring it to here then?)

Is there any indication that the claim made in this picture is true at all? Because that is all there is.. a claim made without any proof, not even with the idea of a proof. I'm sure there are people that have not voted for this reason (as there is literally someone that has not voted for nearly any reason we can think up), but have they been relevant for the outcome?

And yet again, while I do not disagree with the broader points, what is the solution? Because they do not go away and to suggest white supremacists change their behavior is a nice idea but somehow I doubt they will.

At least I'm not the only one that is confused. I think the issue is rather that news sources in America are endorsing anyone. In Europe having a newspaper openly campaign for one party or stating its preference would be unheard of. Even people working there stating on their personal Twitter / FB / whatever who they endorse is frowned upon.

They are all a play on words as the french words for those numbers sound similar to english words. 17 is dix-sept => deception. 5 is cinqe=> sank .. and so on.

Also alone the idea to "dismantle Israel" is anti-semitic bullshit and has nothing to do with actually finding a solution to the conflict. Whenever someone suggests that "solution" it is no different to deny Israel the right to exist. Would be surprised if the same people would be fine if that was suggested regarding their own home-country.

What is exactly what they have seen happening for hundreds of years and also have no reason to believe that Palestine would act any differently.

None of what you wrote changes anything about it not being allowed.

"skipped the line" just means you overtook several cars, despite the rules very clearly forbidding it. These people are obviously in the wrong, but you are in the wrong too and you know that you are - you just give a fuck about it. Why complain that others act the same?

Technically the vertical reverse would be q. But also W is the reverse but horizontal, not vertical. Which to p would be b. But only lowercase. Uppercase there is no reversed letter.

I agree with you, but I also think that you've pretty much described half of the people still browsing imgur.

Great. Just basic decency is not somehow considered a "life hack". Sorry, but none of this is anything special, this should be completely normal behaviour for anyone that has not grown up in a fucked-up household.

Maybe make not everything about you and your trauma?

Yeah, but I did not write about her at all. I guess most here just assumed that I somehow try to say that Imane should not have competed but that was not what I wrote at all and I'm actually baffled how much everyone here is up in arms without bothering to read.

I answered to a comment someone made and in relation to their comment. If you feel that his comment had nothing to do with the topic of the original post you'll have to take it up with the guy that commented first. :)

I wrote nothing about Imane Khelif at all. Not sure what your read but obviously not my comment.

Obviously there are. Heck, most women that at least train a little bit will beat me in most sports easily. That was not my point though as I do not compete in any sports nor am I an athlete. There is no question that women can beat men, but given similar training a women will not beat a men in a sport that is reliant on strength and muscle mass.

So, you want to state that men and women have no differences in muscle mass? That they are absolutely equal given similar training? I mean believe what you want, but that there are differences are so plainly obvious (and proven so many times already) that I really don't get what your point is. No one says that women are worse or better or anything, just that genetically men have it easier to gain more muscle mass as they have tremendously higher testosterone-levels.

So, do you have any "facts" to add of your understanding or just insults? Because what I wrote is easily proven, just take a look at numerous games played between men and women and the results. You can find that for tennis and soccer and certainly other sports easily. Wikipedia or just google.

Nobody says any given man is stronger than any given woman, though there is no discussion at all that men are simply stronger on average. Please look at any of an astounding number of games of soccer, tennis and other sports where the top women played against men and lost. The williams sisters against a guy ranked 203rd at the time, who played them both one after the other and won easily. If both players are equally trained there is no competition, plain simple.

Sorry, but by that argument let men compete against women because they too are just a genetic anomaly. Obviously genetics do play a big part in sports already for decades but as obviously there are fundamental biological differences between what muscle mass men and women can achieve and it is just plain stupid to let them compete against each other in sports because there is no competition, the result is all but certain.

Yes, I don't have. Sorry, I'm not doing an academic study on imgur, if you do, you are doing something wrong imo. :) Though I can guarantee that all those studies listed above are also carefully picked and not an actual overview of scientific opinions or even the consensus among most scientists in this field. Looking at one number (BMI) and basing everything on that is dumb. Being obese and acting like that is healthy is also dumb.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

If you are overweight you might be healthy. If you are obese you are not. Sorry, but it really does not take a study but a look at fat people to come to that conclusion. You can find people which are considered overweight by their BMI but being trained. They are - obviously - not who is at a health risk. But Karen and Peter are, using their motordriven seats (no clue how those things are called) because they are too fat to literally walk 100m on their own.

I have no clue why you get downvoted. That is a completely standard body for a slightly skinny women aged 28. Which is Chers age at the time (1974) this was taken. (It might also have been altered on top, I'm not sure but looking at the originals on Google does give me that feeling.)
