What did they call the sarcastic cat burglar who fell down the stairs?? ...a condescending con descending.

Yeah I mean not saying it makes any sense but skewing public opinion was really the only actual leverage the fraud camp had the first time.

Unfortunately it wouldn’t be a surprise to find out that’s the whole point. Diminish the value of polling while being able to point to disparities between projections and a Harris win to cry fraud again.

If I’m alone and this happens I normally take out my cell and call my wife or my mom or something and talk about something arbitrary if I’m worried about it in the hope it alleviates any tension I may inadvertently be causing.

You got it bud. I knew being obsessed with that movie since I saw in theaters when I was 10 would come in handy some day.

Oh no doubt. The way they did the adopted brother thing or whatever just felt so forced. Not to mention it feels like a juvenile motivation for the James Bond equivalent of professor moriarty.

Sean Bean’s compelling, personally motivated villain aspect was so much better in goldeneye than the modern Blowfeld storyline. The reveal and the ensuing tension. Damn good stuff.

The river gunboat USS Cairo struck 2 mines and sank in the Mississippi River in 1862. In the 1960s they located the intact wreck. They tried to raise it with steel cables under the hull and proceeded to rip it in half. One of the more notable naval archeological fuck ups, but they did get the pieces out.

Thanks, my dude. Honorable mention to Grant and the siege of Vicksburg during the American civil war. His masterful maneuver and logistical ability resulted in the fall of the “Gibraltar of the Mississippi” while simultaneously keeping relief forces at bay. Unfortunately the people of Vicksburg suffered terribly by extension.

Not the mongols, but Julius Caesar’s conquest of Gaul featured a prominent case of civilians being trapped when the defenders turned them out. He both besieged the Gauls and built a second outer ring of fortifications to keep a Gaul relief force away at the siege of Alesia.

I kept it easy for them by just being a fat and awkward kid. Through hard work and perseverance now I’m just a kind of fat and awkward adult

I believe the sentiment is “fuck the Supreme Court” based on their recent controversial and unpopular rulings. That’s the SC chamber.

That plot for such an established character did seem a bit unceremonious.

Honestly a fair point. As a kid I read like a dozen of the padawan novels that chronicled Obi Wan/anakins adventures pre ep II which helped.
