Yeah I mean not saying it makes any sense but skewing public opinion was really the only actual leverage the fraud camp had the first time.

If I’m alone and this happens I normally take out my cell and call my wife or my mom or something and talk about something arbitrary if I’m worried about it in the hope it alleviates any tension I may inadvertently be causing.

Sean Bean’s compelling, personally motivated villain aspect was so much better in goldeneye than the modern Blowfeld storyline. The reveal and the ensuing tension. Damn good stuff.
The river gunboat USS Cairo struck 2 mines and sank in the Mississippi River in 1862. In the 1960s they located the intact wreck. They tried to raise it with steel cables under the hull and proceeded to rip it in half. One of the more notable naval archeological fuck ups, but they did get the pieces out.
Thanks, my dude. Honorable mention to Grant and the siege of Vicksburg during the American civil war. His masterful maneuver and logistical ability resulted in the fall of the “Gibraltar of the Mississippi” while simultaneously keeping relief forces at bay. Unfortunately the people of Vicksburg suffered terribly by extension.
Not the mongols, but Julius Caesar’s conquest of Gaul featured a prominent case of civilians being trapped when the defenders turned them out. He both besieged the Gauls and built a second outer ring of fortifications to keep a Gaul relief force away at the siege of Alesia.
Yeah but he loved them it’s what the occupation of the Sudetenland was over.

Honestly a fair point. As a kid I read like a dozen of the padawan novels that chronicled Obi Wan/anakins adventures pre ep II which helped.
You might not need it for the coyote, but you’ll definitely want it for the cougar.
Iirc non commissioned officers had greater freedom to draw the weapons they preferred.
