Exactly. The Ivy League itself is very rich. Good for the students who get in, bad for those who land on the wrong side of this inequality.
No that's the thing, nowadays these schools are so rich they can afford to give incredibly good financial aid. No one graduates with debt.
The top colleges don't offer merit scholarships, only need-based financial aid. If you get in and you're not rich, you're on scholarship.
Same in New York.
