-adjustable thumb part breaks apart from the mouse at the pivot after three years of use; superglue fixed it tho.
-rubberized parts having their rubbery parts almost completely fall apart within a year
-teflon feet get eroded in a few years, resulting in a horrifying moment of their glue smearing all over my mouse pad and mouse itself
-sensor being ULTRA HYPER sensitive to dust up to the point where the mouse stops responding if the environment is not anything but sterile
-right mouse microswitch spring dies in less than half a year of use; luckily I managed to replace it on my own and that one still works
-battery life reduced to less than two hours per battery in less than a year
I've had a RAT9 for almost three years now, and while the ergonomics are amazing, it's been plagued by all kinds of problems, including:
