Heaven is nice but have you guys seen double heaven or triple heaven?

I don't think it is 80-90%. Maybe 70-80%, but more have it than you would expect.

Cable news is just a bad source of information. It has been tending that way for years.

Cable news isn't representative of the US. The population who still watches it is older and much more conservative than the rest of the US.

That is who still watches cable news.

What did anyone expect? Half of what is left of the FBI has been detailed to ICE to help them beat up brown people.

More likely it is because the venn diagram between 2A advocates and white supremacists is imperceptible from a perfect circle.

They would rather burn the country to the ground than live in one with pluralism even if it costs them personally. Spite is the point.

Of course, there are always more houses than homeless people. If housing availability were to double and the homeless population were to be cut in half, the number of homes per homeless would quadruple. All that statistic really says is how poorly informed someone is about housing in the US. Most rental homes are owned by individuals, not investors.

As someone who took taxis a lot in the 90s and 00s and had them try to rip me off numerous times, I do not miss the pre-Uber days. If Under never existed, I guarantee that they would still not take any form of electronic payments. Fuck every single one of those who shrugged their shoulders at me when I asked for change.

Airbnb didn't make the housing market shit. Decades of under building did that. It also was just a slightly more user friendly version of VRBO. It wasn't some novel concept despite however it was billed.

Why would they? Australia is not at war with Palestine or Israel. 100k protesting a war over which they have no control means nothing.

Democrats had a supermajority only from July 7, 2009 to February 4, 2010 which is just 20 working days. Al Franken wasn't seated until July 7. Ted Kennedy died in April 2009 and was replaced by Scott Brown.

Ralph Nader also is a long standing critic of nuclear power. Not everything he says is a good idea.

40%+ actually want this, so that is a lost cause.

Yep, absolutely, can't miss an opportunity to blame something on the DNC. Is the DNC in the room with you right now?

He was trying to stop a supposed carjacking which I find a little hard to believe. It seems more likely that he picked a fight with some asshole teenagers and got beat up. A carjacker would have almost certainly had a gun.

Because split party voting is a thing. This is especially true for working class Hispanics. Webb county is 95% Hispanic.

Webb County is 95% Hispanic. As much as this might surprise people, split party voting is a thing.

Also, when did we start believing what they guy says? He lies about everything else.

In the US, verdicts are determined by a jury. How likely do you think it is that there is no secret die hard Trump supporter on that jury?

7 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think it is more likely that they just publicize any data that is not good rather than actually ess with anything.

Whoever replaces Netanyahu will be worse. I hope it is not the same in the US but it is not guaranteed.

I am not convinced they didn't see this as a possible outcome. They just would rather burn the country to the ground even if it takes them along with it. Cruelty is the point.

I think that this view is hopeless naive. Anyone who isn't paying attention is ignorant by choice. What you see now is who Americans truly are. I don't try to pretend otherwise just because it is ugly.
