This solitary creature is commonly found in the wastelands of suburbia, rolling his face on a keyboard.

I presume; a tractor that can change the space between its tires, so that the tires can fit into the spaces between differently spaced lines of crops without crushing them.

I presume, "optometrist" - "optimist" -- They're doing the funny.

Did your eyes not see the 4 massive foundation piles they built? The hillside isn't holding any of the weight.

Can't. Hundreds of people would be trying to "accidentally" dump their pets into Olympics events to make the pet an "Olympic medalist".

Any functioning AI detector also works as a tool to improve AI beyond the detector's ability to detect it.

Bro, most humans amateurcreate, at best.

Okay, okay... nice joke and all, but it's triggering my nerd rage. Hydrogen bombs generate energy by fusing Hydrogen INTO Helium.... guillotining Helium would create Hydrogen and consume energy, not generate it.

If you want to guillotine a noble gas and have it generate energy it has to be one with a higher atomic number than Iron. Probably just Xenon since the others are unstable and guillotining something that was just about to fall apart anyways seems pointless.

What do you mean? It's the one and only source of leading edge microchips for the entire world. How is that USA specific?

Interruption or damage to production could easily do hundreds of billions in economic damage all over the world... unless you're under the impression that only the USA wants or uses microchips? Computing technology could literally go several years backwards, for the first time in history. That would have major impacts.

All ignoring changes in political barriers & leverage.

A very large portion of advanced microchip manufacturing is located in Taiwan. And virtually ALL leading edge microchip manufacturing is in Taiwan. A takeover by China would cause HUGE problems globally in advanced electronics.

On top of that, Taiwan likely acts as a bit of a strategic and political buffer between China and the East Asia maritime countries like Japan/S.Korea/Philippines.

Take care. The rule doesn't just punish being legally married. Find and read the specific guidelines. -- Simply appearing as-if married, specifically even if you're NOT married, is also penalized.

AGI and sentience are entirely different things. It's entirely possible for some future AGI version of chatGPT to run rampant, outwitting us all and slaughtering all of humanity because someone told it to make paperclips... -- whilst also clearly lacking sentience.

Watch the first FIVE seconds. In the first scene/cut, the machine is rolling the hose in and the outer nozzles are off. Later, the machine is rolling the hose out and the inner nozzles are off.

And this is why we can't have not-red-circle.

I enjoy the mixture of the high effort cosplay, combined with the laziness of filming the gag 10 feet away from, and walking right past, the anime statue that they borrowed the "don't touch" sign from.

Conservation of Testicular Endangerment. -- Potential testicular endangerment was converted into kinetic testicular endangerment.

People forget these planes aren't featherweights... the B-25G weighed up to 35,000 while loaded. That's half an M4 Sherman tank.

It no more jumps backwards at 40mph from firing it's 75mm cannon than an M4 Sherman flew backwards at 20+mph from firing it's own 75mm cannon.

Your car was never accelerated to 40mph during the collision, nor was his rapidly decelerated to 0 (your car gave way). It's a considerably more favorable situation than "plane suddenly jumps backwards at 40mph".
You can see how it would've been worse (for him) if he'd hit a solid concrete wall instead, and truly experienced 40-to-0 acceleration in a cannon-shot-like timeframe.

You do indeed have to imagine it. I'm surprised at how these wild exaggerations around military equipment manage to persist.

The plane decelerating by 40mph in the span of a cannon shot, would injure or kill the crew every time it fired.

And they managed to squeeze Sokka and Korra referencing their own shows into the skit, heh.

If only they made some kind of wearable head protection that could mitigate impacts.

For bonus points--- I recall another plotline... ALSO about overcoming racism, where another "genetically superior" detective is seen to be acting "below her station" for working closely with "genetic inferiors"... HOW DID THIS ALL GO OVER YOUR HEAD.

You're so media illiterate that it's kind of impressive really. THE key plot point of "Almost Human" is the detective overcoming his irrational, sweeping, generalized hate and distrust of... the black ma--- uhhh... "black android". ---- OH NO YOU LIKED "THE WOKE", ARRHARGAHRHHH IT BURNS, OH NOES THE WOKE ATE YOUR HOMEWORK. I'm actually a little concerned you still might not get it, so I'll just spell it out. The key plot is about overcoming racism, AND IT AINT SUBTLE. Multiple plotlines even.
