The egregious part is that we're at the point now that if everyone actually cared we could **all** live in relative comfort and luxury - sans the occasional natural disaster or relief effort. But greed, divisions, and 'othering' have reduced day-to-day living to a struggle when it doesn't need to be one.

Yeah, I can't TRULY blame Larian for choosing the Original Sin games over finishing Dragon Commander, but they remain effectively unfinished. It's worse that it's a core gameplay element that's so bad, as well - so you can't really enjoy the supporting material because the core loop is just ... so bad. A real tragedy.
