As a spine surgeon: most accurate video I've seen. Although dissecting the muscle off of the bone is the longest part of the procedure!
Sure, but a hip replacement is not a life saving procedure. a lot of people seem to have a hard time understanding what is "elective"
I have insurance... which i pay for, and i save for the out of pocket.
Do things cost too much in the US, yes, but dont assume the care is the same, or that you wouldnt have to wait in many other countries...
No, this is simply the result of spoiled Americans. Some of us save for emergencies... and again $1500? u must not know what surgeons do...

As a ginger.. should be SPF 70 (why not) plus a shirt, and I'd bet a ton of money you didnt apply every 45 mins - an hour. Melanoma dude!
