Im honestly not sure anymore, im going off of what I've been taught in class. Keep in mind i only got a 66 on my midterm lol.
I couldn't imagine majoring in this field, it is so flippin' difficult. Space used to fascinate me, now I'm so turned off by the class haha.

There are such things as refracting telescopes, albeit they're not as good as reflectors.
I've only taken a first year astronomy class and I'm definitely no expert, but this doesn't all seem scientifically sound to me.
