I'm a dad and a college professor. I have a Ph.D. that lets me study games (though it's much more involved than that.) I love Bengal cats, games (e.g., Magic, Eurogames), punk rock and progressive rock, Doctor Who, and sci-fi generally. There's lots more to know. But that's the important stuff.
The only people that think cats aren't affectionate are those that have never been loved by a cat.
Oh no. I remember the first time I heard this. I still cringe.
Almost no one in the information literacy and/or media literacy professions take this seriously. It's wildly inaccurate.
The National Aviary and an incline. Both are essential. Then head to Squirrel Hill for great pizza or great ramen.
Bengal?
That bear screwed me up for months. I guess that's a testament to the filmmakers... Seems like it unnerved a lot of us.
I had two Zunes. One was the touchscreen version. They were fantastic devices.
I've pet an adult tiger. She was pretty coarse. It was like petting a hairbrush.
No Golgo-13? Blasphemy.
I've seen Carlin, Chappelle, Rock, etc... Burr is the only comedian I've walked out on during their set. I just don't get him.
We have this. It's called information literacy and your librarians - if you have them - are teaching it. But there needs to be more.
The most common reason to revoke a degree is when it comes to light that the individual cheated to attain it.
Yes, schools can revoke degrees.
My daughter did this to some people earlier today.
We were better off as friends, ultimately. But yeah, it was great.
Had a girlfriend in college that would pretend to be Karen Walker. It was fantastic.
Oscar Isaac could make a great Gomez.
Making a game is easier than you think. Making a good game, on the other hand, is really difficult.
Speaking as a husband and father: if he can't get his act together, leave him. There's no viable excuse for his behavior.
Such a great game. There was a trick to earning a full health bar early on. It took a while but you were basically unstoppable after.
E.T. was pretty easy if you read the manual. It told you what to do. Indiana Jones, though... I never had the manual for...
Any chance of moving to the US and starting a game dev program? We've got some top notch schools that help open doors.
I have two Bengals. You can hold a treat up and they'll run for it. Once they learn, they'll just do it on their own.
Was gonna say the same thing.
I love macro but haven't done much. I find trying to get it right - and have enough light - to be more difficult than I like.
I almost exclusively photograph animals. So nothing like that, unfortunately. Great lens, though. Probably my favorite.
EF 100-400 - the Mark I.
Same. I've shot with a 7D with an L telephoto - on a tripod - and couldn't even get close to what you did.
How on earth did you finish by 24? It took me 6 years and that was after BS and MS. You must have been super aggressive.
