They have to meet it for the check, figuring the hours you worked vs the money reported. Restaurant workers suffer for the weekend shifts.

Ah yes, the "Lightspeed to Blackout" Option for industry people who won't drink liquor.

I spent so many hours on the Ishimura I started to memorize jump scares. Kinda scary how clinical it gets after a while.

Just last week a couple brought their sick kid in and he vomited on the patio. As they were leaving he vomited again as they were 1/2

Ideally it should be different, but scientists are still people and people like conformity / continuity.

That's how its been though. Any time someone had a radical idea that was right it took someone else to 'prove it' 20 yrs after they died.

True, I had forgotten. Still, I would believe maintenance of a hyperdrive would still be expensive, and it was obviously well maintained

If one smuggler can afford a ship with hyperdrive than a rebellion funded by several core worlds and several others could probably get by.

Until Alderaan was destroyed the rebellion had the support of at least one major planet. The Millennium Falcon had hyperdrive, 1/2

Government is not stealing it from you. Private Interests are paying so they can take the wheel.

To be fair I'm not arguing for generational incest, limiting genepools is always bad. But the link to Islamic communities gives me pause.

Had to think there is one that is comprehensive and long enough that is unbiased in its methodology 2/2

Generally speaking a lot of cross generational social studies take a long time and there is little money in it for researchers. 1/2

Which studies are you basing that assessment on? Was their scope international communities? Domestic? Sample Size? Who wrote the studies?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

It tests for certain things yes, but people put too broad a weight behind it and link it to class placement or ability.
