While the claim for HBCUs appears to be true, that money was mostly taken away from other minority focused schools. You're not far off. HOAs have an origin in racist neighborhoods setting up rules that would exclude minorities, former slaves, etc... They were designed to give control over properties they didn't own and apply the rules at a whim. It is not by accident that this sort of thing happens all the time.
Beyond this, his first administration put lots of corporate executives in charge of the departments that regulated their industries. They were people whose biggest interest would be dismantling the institution they were placed in charge of.
This is way beyond a routine picture hanging setup and no judge is going to give you a pass on something like this. It's a dumb idea and the landlord will win their case if you take it to court.
I have a friend working in a print shop. Several of their customers have already stopped having them do any brochure designs and started using AI. The results aren't great, but they're good enough that the customer doesn't care. They still get to print the stuff, but a fair portion of their business is disappearing.

That's exactly what they're doing by going to courthouses and arresting people who are showing up for hearings. They're preventing people from following procedures then claiming "you failed to follow the law, so we're kicking you out."
I get that mistakes happen, but shouldn't the onus be on the government to know whether they want you gone or not before blessing your citizenship? It seems crazy that something like that doesn't put a blocker in the system that prevents everything at "Step 1" when they start processing the paperwork.

At first I was confused why his mother would stop the fundraising. The extra info about addiction and mental illness clarifies it a bit. Handing a small chunk of cash to a street addict with no housing is a high risk for fueling the addiction instead of improving things.
