Details: 6 year old video. Crazy old lady resigned from her position in the church. Girl left the Methodist church to find herself. The specific church itself was very supportive at the time and does not consider this behavior appropriate. (Because no shit)

She was such a a sweet and incredible person. Go watch the saveafox YouTube channel, and you'll see her being so sweet and kind to so many rescue critters. Terrible news.

Good on him for having the presence of mind to just back away and let things go to shit. 50/50 I would have tried to grab it or fix it and ended up in the ER.

It's a photoshoot, so I imagine the disconnect is part of what they're going for. Everything about her doesn't belong on a creeper - no gloves, impractical outfit, wrong shoes, and lose long hair. The intention is obviously to be the opposite of "skilled mechanic" in appearance.

Keeping something you made yourself is not "hoarding"

Also, a lot of them are teenagers, not adults with Ivy league educations.

May the memory of his glorious comment sacrifice live on....

You're kidding, right? The last time his term was up he PACKED UP AND LEFT. We've run this experiment already.

Yes, but to get to that you need to wade through 900 pages of very... Inconsistent pacing.

The movies do a LOT to fix pacing. The hobbits take like 150 pages(8 chapters) to make it to Bree, something that happens 15 minutes into the first movie. There are some side quests and incredible descriptions of trees along the way... But it's slow.

Okay, you can either complain when people talk about voting irregularities, or you can complain when dead, duplicate, and ineligible people are removed from the vote list. Not both.

It does if you haven't cleaned the list in YEARS

I'd reframe this into "There's something about this I don't understand, because it looks like she's using less of the blade than I'd expect. I wonder why." It will lead you to more insight, and less ignorance.

This is the piece that's too easily forgotten. Everyone assumes service will be cheap and the system well run. Amtrak shows that it's just as likely to be expensive and mediocre.

The controlling factor is things like warranties and liability. If a manufacturer claims a vehicle has a 10,000lb towing capacity, but it breaks when you try, they end up paying for costly warranty repairs. If drivers keep loosing control because the vehicle can't handle the load, they pay out in lawsuits. You are correct though, in that the lack of standards and the long-timeline on the blowback creates a breeding ground for bullshit.

The ceaseless "othering" of anyone to right of FDR is not at all concerning. Cry "Nazi" all you want, this is a move from their playbook. I remember when the left still made it a point to care about everyone, insisting on equality and decency regardless of race, color, or CREED.

Firing the star seems like a worse solution than just hiring enough theatre staff to eject hecklers in the first place.

This is just a big version of a beard trimmer, you'd need to work hard to get more than a bad abrasion. It's really designed to cut hair/fibers that fit into the comb.

I think that speaks to a lack of coordinated rollout. When the Dems or GOP establishment roll something out, there are talking points and a broad effort to promote their perspective. Trump's campaign just kinda... dropped this.

Nobody's going to scroll down this far, but this "research" was done by a lobbying group, and it likely assumes everyone gets today's costs... Which are heavily SUBSIDIZED by non Medicare payors. Promises of a free lunch turn out to have been overstated.

Perhaps transporting HUMAN REMAINS across state lines is more complex than just printing a UPS label...
