You might want to watch ''Grave of the Fireflies'' (o.t.: Hotaru no Haka), a Japanese animated movie. It's a very touching one.
Probably a guy who got zapped while working on the lines - and the other guy giving him CPR on the spot.

There is no oxygen in most of the test tubes they draw blood with. Also: hemoglobin = iron content = red color.
Blood from under the skin is red. Blood from deeper within the body appears blackish red on first glance. (1)
