Which could be used for other purposes or possibly to inform another compromised system what to do when it scans a specific serial number.

It depends on the comedian some shows have a lot of crowd work and engagement some don't. But I agree it is rude to just heckle them i may have used the wrong word. Regardless you shouldn't do anything if it would be disrupting or interfere with the intended show or take away from people's ability to enjoy the event.
That's a fair concern but usually as long as you don't raise a hand when they ask questions or sit near the front they will never interact with you. I have been heckled quite a few times but its always been because I was in the front and/or heckled them first abit. It can be a lot of fun to participate in the show but if you don't want trust in the fact that you are one in 50 to 100 other people and plenty of them will make themselves stand out for the opportunity of being apart of crowd work

My mother had a sugar glider once it jumped on our corgi and she panicked so hard she ran fullspeed into a wall and knocked herself cold. Pup was fine but ga e us a good laugh as the sugar glider stood there triumphant for a few seconds until the pup got up and chased it back to its cage.
I'm glad my dad raised me on MST3K cause stuff like this makes life worth living
