Thanks for the downvotes, lol. This is just what I have been observing in science for 25 years. Science is made by humans. And humans interact. And sometimes, not always, these interactions suck.
Capitalism is certainly to blame to some extent. But also, Science is made by humans, and to navigate well in science it's better to have a good sense of navigation amongst human beings.
