3800 V6 is indestructible. At the end of the world, it'll be cars with that engine and the mutated cockroaches that are driving them.

I suggest we start burning theirs so they're no longer in the "got mine" boat and can see just how bad it really is.

May all those who say "I am Charlie Kirk" live as long as he did.

Instructions unclear: Calling and writing my representative and protesting on holidays and weekends. That should do it, right?

It's both. Corporations buying up every property while NIMBYs lobby local government to not up-zone / make zoning less restrictive in order to keep property values up.

Not even because of that. It's all cast iron and milled steel. No plastic or excessive use of rubber, no shitty electronic controls or hundreds sensors. The cast stuff will last forever and the milled pieces can be reproduced at any machine shop.

Why not both?

The fact that some people think we should deindustrialize and live in communes where we're all farmers, like that would somehow be a paradise is mind boggling.

We transitioned from an industrial / trade economy to a bloated service economy that sells suffering and white collar crimes and left all the industries that actually produced things to rot, which allowed China, India and Russia to buy them all up for peanuts.

"I don't want to admit that people on the left can be just as vile and hateful as those on the right, so I'm going to invalidate this person's first-hand experience as to keep my little bubble intact."

That pretty much sums up all of your points, there.

It wasn't. Jo stated it himself that hate came from both sides.

He literally stated it himself. Go look it up. Pretending that people on the left aren't also fuckwits doesn't help anyone.

You have to turn the ignition off. Cars made in the last thirty years have electric fuel pumps and so long as the ignition is on it will just keep pumping fuel up to the fire.

Automated and algorithmic trading should be banned. If a human doesn't initiate the trade manually, then there should be no trade.

Being CarBrained is better than not pushing for actual public transportation and becoming BikeBrained instead.

People are blowing it out of proportion. That would require a constitutional amendment which requires 75% of US states to vote in favor of it. Which, looking at our current political climate, good luck getting 75% of states to agree on anything.
