His name's an anagram of "Ye Don slag"

For health reasons I do not believe he will complete this term…

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The elephant doesn't deserve that...

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hmmm pootin but orange.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Who does this surprise?

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

His brain is already turning into Swiss cheese. I can't see Trump making the four years of this term.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What a piece of shit. A fucking boot licker.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is what Putin is doing too. And succeeding at it.

1 year ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I fucking *knew* they would try to fuck with the 22nd amendment. They're literally trying to turn us into Russia. He installs loyalists everywhere, rigs the election system, and changes the rules so he can keep "running"

This is gonna be baaaad

It takes a two - thirds majority in both houses of congress to pass a constitutional amendment. They don't have that.

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It then takes ratification by two thirds of states

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I think they are phrasing the amendment, since Frump didn’t serve consecutively, he can run again… so that leaves Obama out.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

/gallery/mlYddwa Scroll down to last post (yeah... by me) I figured it would me musk.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

His own party will shut this down, only so they can try to make an argument before the Supreme Court that Trump is already allowed 3 terms.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Amending the Constitution requires approval by 2/3 of the House and Senate. Should that happen it then requires 3/4 of the states to approve the amendment. The GOP Senate would need 13 Democrats to cross the aisle if the entire GOP votes Yes. The GOP House would need 65 Democrats to cross the aisle if the GOP all vote in favor. Republican led states would need 10 Democrat led states to support an amendment to make it happen.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"notice me, senpai!" - this guy

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

The bar is way too high; two thirds of BOTH houses Congress must pass it, THEN three quarters of the state legislatures must ratify it. Or, two thirds of Congress must vote to hold a Constitutional convention. Cheetolini may have a majority in both houses at the moment, but that still isn't enough for this.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Trump is 78. There is no more than a a 40% likelihood that he will live to 86. This is for whoever follows him.

1 year ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

His father lived to be 93. Rupert Murdoch is 93. Don't underestimate the longevity of evil men. Besides, with all the AI faking, I could totally see those around Trump pulling a Weekend at Bernie's to cover for him becoming incapacitated until they came up with a longer-term plan to stay in power.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Luckily with the Amendment path you need 2/3 of each house to even start the process, and 3/4 of states to ratify. Sane dems won't let it happen with the houses as even as they are.

Nazis can eat a bag of dicks.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I called this a year ago. He's trying to do the same thing Putin did, changing the constitution to effectively let him sit as a dictator indefinitely.

1 year ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

The recent film "Civil War" didn't really focus on the 'war' part, more war journalists, but they do place seeds of *why* the war happened, and the president getting a third term was one of them...

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

2/3 house, 2/3 sentate, 2/3 states gotta agree on the change. It's not happening.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

They'll take it to SCOTUS. Then those corrupt, I mean, "constitutional scholars", will really earn their keep by putting together a legal word salad that boils down to it's fine.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Three-quarters of the states, not two-thirds.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Thank you for the correction!

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He said over and over you won't need to vote again and said he'd be there longer than four years. People need to start listening when these fascists tell you their plans.

1 year ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

But he totally wasn't serious! Except when he says what he means! Except... uh... well I thought he meant those degenerates and not me, because I'm awesome and just one lotto draw away from being part of the club! /s

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I saw people claiming it was all a joke but had to ask how does a man with no sense of humour only make jokes about fascism.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What I find really obnoxious is how when you say the republicans are trying to do something extreme and radical the MAGA idiots say “oh that’s a conspiracy theory and not real!” Yet there are actual Republicans in the government actively trying to do that thing. At the same time the MAGA idiots say the left is trying to “let illegal immigrants do tran surgery on kids in school and kill babies” and there is not a single democrat anywhere even remotely advocating for something like that.

1 year ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

I saw a Reddit post from r/conservative and it was all about how "oh look, it's day one and Trump hasn't started sending the military to round up all the liberals! hahahahahaha stupid liberals! bet they feel dumb now!" they're just... so awful and delusional... no one thought Trump would get elected and instantly turn USA into a Nazi state, it was always gonna be a relatively gradual thing and hell, his first day EOs are pretty damn awful!

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Most MAGA hat wearers understand that deceit is a part of taking and keeping power. They have zero qualms about spreading their lies so they can be their hideous selves out in the open once and for all.

“If I have to create stories...then that’s what I’m going to do.” -- Vice President JD Vance

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If that actually passed, I gotta say, I'd start a uh... club... to make sure it... didn't see use.

1 year ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 3

Is it open enrollment?

1 year ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I legitimately believe letting him overturn amendments would lead to civil war in the United States, which is why it hopefully won’t happen

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Personally I don't see any way out of a descent into fascism *except* for a civil war. How else will the GOP be stopped?

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think a lot of Americans are going to play Mario Kart if and when that particular event happens.

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It's all performative BS to massage Trumps ego to get on his good side.

1 year ago | Likes 64 Dislikes 3

Nah, this one is just performative BS to tweak the libs.

Good thing it's getting so much attention, I'm sure that will discourage them from doing it more and more. /s

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yeah, it’s not as if trumpers will punish the guy for being unAmerican after all

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yep, sucking the orange cock.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Oh sure. I'm only performing to rob a store. I'm sure that makes it much better

1 year ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

It's only performative until Trump says "yeah, do that" and it passes because they're all trying to massage his ego.

And even with that aside, it's extremely concerning that all of these people want to massage his ego. The reason we have a senate, house, supreme court, and president is explicitly to prevent the president from having total power

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's worse than you think. This amendment proposed amendment only allows a third term, if your previous two terms were no consecutive. So Obama, Bush and Clinton could not try to serve a third term.

1 year ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

I was wondering how’d they do that. Always special rules for themselves, b/c I’m dead certain no one in the GOP wants to see Obama on the ballot again

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why do this to a poor elephant. I suggest using a baseball bat with rusty barbed wire, dipped in super hot chili sauce.

Can we replace the baseball bat with a cricket bat? It's a much more uncomfortable shape.

Take heart Americans, at some point in the future Trump will have to die like the rest of us. He is not immortal.

1 year ago | Likes 104 Dislikes 1

Hes going to dismantle democracy and leave it set up for dictatorship.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Trump could easily live another ten years. This will be a very different country in ten years.

1 year ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Neither was Kim Il Sung.

1 year ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

My take: Doesnt matter. MAGA is now bigger than Trump. Theyve succeeded. Theyve been working toward this since Raegan's original MAGA movement. Project 2025 is their Bible. Trump is now just their current profit. Just like the Bible, this bullshit will live on for our lifetime...

I really, really hope I'm wrong.

1 year ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

No. MAGA is trump. He just barely contains the crowd. McConnell learned this the hard way on Jan 6th

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He'll die soon enough. But we will still have to deal with the nightmare apparatus he is creating.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

1 year ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

but until proven otherwise he, too, is mortal

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They are all mortal. People have just elevated them too high, like people did with kings and queens and emperors in the past. They all bleed and they can and will all die eventually, but some people really do deserve to get killed.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'd counter that MAGA is a cult of personality and when the personality dies the cult collapses.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Vance was their goal all along (Thiel groomed Vance and pressured 45’s team to accept him as VP pick) because he and the other billionaires know 45 won’t be around long and then their boy will be in place. They OWN Vance.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Jesus. This man is an absolute evil prick and he's vice president. I just turned 40 and am an average, non-evil prick and I've only just figured out what I want to do when I grow up.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Which Americans ? He got elected by 77 million of them. Not some minority. This is what USA wants. Don’t assume they’re misguided poor souls, they saw this and went for it.

1 year ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 12

Hey not all of us voted for that orange shit stain, if anything some of us wanted him 60' under or in jail

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There are 335 million people in America. 77 million is hardly a majority. I angrily remind you that there are millions of LGBTQ people that are now at risk of homegrown genocide because a poorly educated minority and a lot of apathetic assholes put a fascist in office and acting like everyone that lives here deserves this is fucking psychotic and heartless.

1 year ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 1

Not a minority . A majority of the voters. The ones that could but didn’t vote say they are fine either way. That won’t disappear by getting angry about it.
There’s consequences too on peace, prosperity of the entire rest of the planet, and the environment , and the USA will be collectively responsible .

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

The ones that didn't vote are all complacent.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Remember that Trump has Congress, Senate and supreme court majority. Do not underestimate what he can and will do.

1 year ago | Likes 355 Dislikes 9

And let's not overestimate it either cause he's absolutely capable of anything stupid or cruel enough.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They've also been blocking promotions in the military for years, so they have plenty of open positions for "their" people there too.

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Trump going the Nazi Putin way

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They have a 2 seat majority in the House and 3 seats in the Senate and can only pass anything using reconciliation, a process that only allows tax and spending bills to go through without Democrats supporting them, and that assumes every member always votes the line (Collins and Murkowski are the Republican equivalents to Manchin and Sinema in the Senate which leaves 1 spare vote). So don't overestimate what they can do either.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I mean, he's old, very unhealthy, and his mind is already on the way out. He might very well never live to even campaign for a third term.

The bad news is that wouldn't be particularly good news. As much as I long for the day I don't have to see his shitty face and hear his idiot voice anymore, by that time Republican rule will be cemented for decades to come.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

He started campaigning for a third term on Inauguration Day.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He can also legally assassinate anyone he likes

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I mean, he literally can’t do this though, need a lot more than a majority to repeal an amendment

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

But he doesn't have THAT much of a majority. There are supposedly still rules, and a 2/3 majority is required for an amendment to the constitution. If they're going to ignore that 2/3 majority and ratification requirements for a constitutional amendment, it'd just be easier to ignore the constitution.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's not my country so, does the rule say no more than two terms or 2 consecutive terms?

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's just 2 terms - they put the consecutive thing in to keep Obama from being able to run again.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes the 22nd amendment to the us constitution limits a president to two terms (passed after Fdr looked like he might win a fourth term after WWII)

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And that’s two terms ever you can’t leave and come back like Putin did

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I told a ton of magas that the third term discusssion would really happen and start shortly into the second term. They will do this if they can

1 year ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Contitutional amendments require a two-thirds majority in both the house and senate, so they don't have an easy way to do that.

1 year ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 0

They jave very deep pockets for bribes and stuff, and we know that at least 2/3rds of both congress and senate routinely line their pockets with ill gotten gains.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

PLUS, ratification by 3/4 of the states (legislatures or through state conventions)

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Is that two thirds of all members of House and Senate, or just two thirds of everyone who showed up for the vote?

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Two thirds of the total. If over a third don't show up it can't pass.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They require that if you follow the rules. Or, maybe, he just gets the supreme court to declare whatever he wants to do legal. Assuming the rule of law is going to have any bearing on what the Republicans want to do is foolish. What happens if the supreme court just says "Yeah, naw, it's legal now.."? Do you go to civil war? What upholds these laws that are supposed to hold them back? What repercussions are there to violating them?

1 year ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 4

What happens is an instant civil war, people are unhappy but peaceful now because they believe we get another vote in two years if that belief is shattered violence follows very quickly

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Then there's no point in even starting an amendment. They don't really think the Supreme Court will just 'let them do whatever they want', or else they wouldn't even bother with the lengthy process of a constitutional amendment. Takes awhile, and it's bound to fail. They'd just run Trump in 4 years and not telegraph their hand two weeks after inauguration.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

As others have said, Trump hasn't a clue, but the team around him have a plan, clear objectives, and they are going to get it done.

1 year ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Man's a shit-coloured idiot puppet

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This one won't be. They won't be able to get 2/3rds to sign it, and if they did you need 38 states to agree to it. No this is a non starter. It is however showing the Us and the world how far up his orange ass the house GOP is. MMW 2 year from now we see a full shit for the house and Senate to Democrats making his second half lame duck.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Unfortunately too many congressional districts around the country are hopelessly gerrymandered. Not that I won't vote or be active in having my voice heard, but that shit is infuriating.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Doesn't matter HOW it's gerrymandered. It requires a 2/3 majority in both the House AND the Senate. Gerrymandered or not, they don't HAVE that majority strictly along party lines. 220 out of 435 seats in the House and 53 of 100 seats in the Senate is FAR from a 2/3 majority. They'd have to have a sweeping victory in 2026, which admittedly could happen, but let's not pucker our assholes for 2 years waiting to see.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

True, but the maps as they are now aren't really representative of most voters, at least in terms of the House. NC voted about 51-49 in the presidential election but it's reps are 12 R - 2 D which is baffling.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do you think he could get 38 states to ratify the amendment in the next four years and then also win re-election?

1 year ago | Likes 68 Dislikes 3

I am sure there are a lot of bumps in the roads to that, we shall see I guess. I never thought he would be walking around free let alone the president again, but here we are

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There wont be another election, he said so already

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I am hoping that Trump "kicks the bucket" in the following 4 years. The sooner, the better. He is so old, it is probable.

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

With fascism, anything is possible

1 year ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 1

Given the power the Reps have over voter lists, electoral districts and the 'justice' system, yes, I believe they can do it.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

What re-election? Didn't he say you'd only ever have to vote once then never again??

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

He still has to pretend it’s a democracy

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not a chance. The question, is if he wins, or even hold elections in 2024, with a Republican-controlled House, Senate, and Supreme Court, and with a majority of the states having Republican-controlled legislatures, will anyone enforce the rules of the Constitution against him?

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Do you think what the rulebook says means anything to the Republican party?

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

No, but I don’t think they want the mass civil unrest that would follow

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Or 2/3 of both houses? Their majority isn't that large.

1 year ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

The house majority is about as tiny as is possible

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Which election? Do you think there are still rules then?

1 year ago | Likes 77 Dislikes 4

There will still be an election no doubt, how fair it will be is another question. After all, even in North Korea people are allowed to vote. And in Glorious Democratic People's Republic of Korea, everyone is free to vote for the right leader, Glorious Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

1 year ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

That does make me wonder, do you think the opposing candidate gets any sort of support or compensation for all the stuff they have to put up with? They're basically forced to play the bad guy.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In North Korea there is no opposing party, you get to vote for Kim Jong Un"s party. Even non-voting is not an option, you either vote Kim Jong Un or you might end up in prison/work-camp. Hence NK has one of the highest vote turnouts in the world, close to 100% attendance.
Most recent elections however did saw an unprecedented outcome. 99.91% voted for the party electorates, the lowest since 1960 (normally it is practically 100%)

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If the Supreme Court rules that he’s allowed, for whatever reason, then he would “legally” be able to do it.

1 year ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 4

But not with a constitutional amendment. That's an awful lot of song and dance. I'm going around the block several times to just ignore the constitution anyway, which means that even the GOP may not have the Supreme Court quite as secured in the bag as we may think.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's it why he started with birthplace citizenship. WHEN the SC let's that stand, we'll be truly lost

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Been saying it for a while now; if they take the rights away the of one group of people, they can take away the rights of any one

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Given the supreme court has already said he cannot be prosecuted for anything he does while President, why would he even need it to be legal...

1 year ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Because everyone else involved can still be prosecuted

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That would assume they don't sway a bunch of rulings to the point that a democrat win isn't even possible anymore to give up DOJ control, and Trump can pardon as many of his cronies as he wanted on the way out to protect them.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And then he pardons them. The US has created a king. Ironic.
