I don’t care much either way if I have a “monarch” or not, because in most constitutional monarchies, the crown is little more than a mascot.
Monarchies are not inherently evil in this day and age. Some nations have even voted to bring their monarchy back. Ideally, they function as a country’s mascot and little more. This doesn’t mean the British monarch who made most of their wealth through colonial exploitation and the middle eastern petro-monarchies aren’t total shitlords, though.
